Another nice surprise today is the release of this year's Christmas card - a photo in black and white
of all four kids. It's on the cover of this week's Billed-Bladet.

Awww the kids are so sweet in this black and white picture! I think Isabella is get getting prettier and prettier by the year, she is so photogenic. Christian looks like a 'lil man, and well the twins? Too cute for words!

What a lovely photo those babies cheeks are edible!
I love that Christian and Isabella just look and behave like regular kids. The M&F must be really proud of their family. They appear to be doing a fine job as parents

Not a fan of the card, black & white is quite depressing and Josephine's face is cut off. Great to have all four kids on the card but there is nothing happy or cheerful about it.

Agree, b&w pictures are elegant but in this case should be cheerful with 4 kids on the card. Instead we have 'sad' card. I hope that cutting the head was BB's idea, not original version.

Oh, it's isn't BB editing.
It's deliberate editing by the photographer IMO. A case of "fashionable spontaneous snapshot editing". I.e. an arranged photo made to look like it was as snapshot.
I think there is a good deal of photo-experimenting going on home at M&F.
In my opinion it ruined what could have been a really great photo.
According to Billed Bladet #51, 2011.
Fire søde søskende - Four sweet siblings.
Written by Anna Johannesen.
The photographer is credited as "private", but the reporter believe it's Mary and that this pic was taken at Gråsten this summer.

The Regent Couple's Christmas card is a photo of both of them with icebergs in the background, from their visit to Greenland. They used a pic by the BB photographer Hanne Juul.

The Berleburg Christmas card is the official Berleburg branch family photo from the wedding between Nathalie and her Alexander. - Even down to the date of the wedding...

The Greek royals, or rather King Konstantin and Queen Anne-Marie are dipicted at the spit of a sailing ship, with all their grandchildren, all uniformely dressed in red and white.
https://picasaweb.google.com/1008659...37827272360258
- Personal review from me.
M&F: A bit too experimental. A pity.
The Regent Couple: Very good! But then it's a professional photographer.
Berleburg: Ah, come on! At least try make an effort. There really is no need to reuse the thank-you cards from the wedding.
The Greeks: Very good. (A bit of the von Trapp Family Singers touring Greece about it What is Edelweiss in Greek by the way? - Sorry, couldn't resist).

Very nice picture! I'm seeing less of Mary in Christian. He's starting to look more like his Dad. They all look adorable!

Muhler, thank you for those Christmas card photos.
Yes, the card featuring Mary and Frederik's children is too experimental.
I'd like to see the photo not as cropped. It's still very cute.
I love all the other cards.
Do you think that there is anything worrying in the fact that the Berleburgs have chosen to use the same photo, without Jefferson?

Who is the old man with a walking stick who alighted last from QM's car and whom Mary went forward to walk with him at 2:26 and enter the church with him last after Joachim and Marie?
