Two high resolution pictures from BT: Kronprinsparret kiksede med rækkefølgen - Royale - BT.dk
You know the drill by now: click: "se stort billede", then click full screen.
The article itself is about M&F showing up late, but there is no explanation as to why.
I notice Mary is wearing an order with a portrait of QMII on her left shoulder. Can't remember which one though.
-------
Billed Bladet also has a small gallery: http://www.billedbladet.dk/Kongelige...0billeder.aspx
I noticed they have turned up the saturation in the pictures. Presumably to counter the effect of flashlights and it's great for enjoying the colors of dresses and uniforms - but somewaht unfortunate when it comes to nicotine stained teeth....

The ladies look lovely as always. I just think it is a pity we don't get to see the banquet room bathed in Candlelight. It must be truly romantic glistening with all the gilt around the room. If someone has a pic could they please share it with us.

No surprise; Mary looked stunning. And they were minus Princess Marie, so no competition from her although I think Mary would have still been a tough act to beat!

Thank you Sasco very much for the pic. Just as I thought the room looks lovely bathed in candlelight even with the chandeliers. It is a very beautiful room. Many thanks. Tarlita

A walk down memory lane: https://picasaweb.google.com/1008659...eINytarskjoler
A gallery with dresses worn by QMII, Mary and our Marie at the New Year Courts.
ADDED:

Well, M&F being late (Lene Balleby from the court doesn't know why) wasn't the only slight mishap at this years court.
One of the PET officers were blocking the way for Prince Henrik.
QMII got out of the car closest to the entrance. And there an appropriately dressed PET officer kept a vigilant eyes on people nearby.
Alas, PET officers are not equipped with eyes in the back of the head, so he hadn't noticed Prince Henrik, who stepped out of the car on the other side and was walking around the car.
Now, the distance between the PET officer and the car wasn't big enough for someone of Prince Henrik's stature.... I mean status, so PH gently pushed the officer aside.
Not that it made the officer flinch for a second or even look back, he was still focused on the media and onlookers.

Out of curiosity.
Are the New year Courts with Mary in full regalia covered in the Australian papers/magazines?

Not really. Some of the tabloid magazines may do a brief mention and photograph, but there wasn't any mention online, or TV nightly news. It's not regarded as news here.

No but I'm hoping for something in our weekly mags. I would much rather see the Danish royals than more photos of Liz Hurley and Shane Warne !!!!

Australia's Womans Day and New Idea womens magazines will be out again Monday 9th and they usually have photos of Fred and Mary and sometimes include the Queen at the New Year banquet. The story won't be much. Not worth reading.
