Crown Prince Naruhito, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary at the jubilee concert with traditional Japanese music this evening:

** BB: VIDEO: Kronprinsesse Mary eventyrlig smuk til festkoncert ** translation **

Thanks for link to the video :flowers:

I observed a nice little detail in the video... CP Frederik is elegantly leading Mary first into the swing doors, which of course, means she comes out first from doors... You can see she gets a little insecure... should she now greets CP Naruhito first?... She turns back to Frederik who just puts his hand on her back, smiles and pushes her forward to signals: You just greets him first, honey.

CP Mary said last year in an interview that she has nothing against having to go one step behind her husband at official events, and that they have total equality in their relationship otherwise, and we can see that in a cute way in this video.

Today, Queen Margrethe and the Crown Prince Couple will hold a lunch at Fredensborg Castle for the Crown Prince of Japan.

:previous: Or perhaps she wished to ensure her husband didn't get lost in the revolving doors... :D - Seasoned wives tend to do that...

But I'm glad to see Frederik has no qualms about letting his wife take the front. And Naruhito is so close to them that he won't be the least bit offended by the protocol being bend slightly.

And today, on a wonderful summers day, QMII offered a lunch for Naruhito and M&F. Dronning Margrethe bød på frokost | BILLED-BLADET
Like Frederik's tie.

Nice to see the CP of Japan with his peers. I went to Copenhagen three weeks ago and saw much of the same and even went to the theatre for a dance performance. The Japanese crown prince always seems very likable indeed.

Each depression or anxiety disorder is different, some are solved and with some you will have to learn to live.

CP Naruhito also visited architect Hiroshi Sambuichi’s “water” exhibition and met with Japanese living in Denmark on June 18th.

On June 19th, he visited Hans Christian Andersen Museum and had lunch hosted by the mayor at Odense City Hall. He expressed condolences to those affected by the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Greenland on the 17th.

That's very decent of him. They'll appreciate that in Greenland.

Greenlandic products will be very much on the table when M&F visit Japan later this year.

Thank you, Iceflower. :flowers:

Just as in China, I believe H C Andersen is a mandatory part of the school curriculum in Japan as well.

In China it was (and is) in particular the story about the girl with the matches which was taught. - In the eyes of the Communists/Maoists the poor girl freezing to death was an image of how inhumane capitalism is.
