HER&NU :: Alex og Martin på ambassadebesøg - a video about the English Speaking Union - unfortunately it's Mary's parents who are interviewed not Alexandra, but there is some footage of her at the event.

There's another recent video here:
HER&NU :: Nikolai til ræs med mor

I think it's a flat that's something to do with Parkinson patients - perhaps a Danish member could help us out (I free translated the description and got "The Countess displayed other day his heavy heart , when she that protektor by Danish Parkinsonforening prvede by awhile , how the daily round by a parkinson - patient experience.")

Thanks Mitchell - I like her white outfit, she looks really 'summery'. I also think that the bright pink colour of that top suits her.

I don't think there is going to be any problem in that. All three of them can be patrons of whatever association they chose. CP Mary and Countess Alexandra are highly respected and now it is up to Marie to finde out witch protectorates are closely to her heart. Actually, having these three very different persons to promote different causes is - in my opinion - only a gain to Denmark.

I totally agree with you, Lilla, it can only be a good thing for Denmark.

Is that Nikolai and Felix with her in the video? It was kind of grainy on my computer.

I think so - it was grainy on mine too, but I think I heard someone say Nikolai's name at the start.

Countess Alexandra is not representing the Royal Family. She is a patron in her own right. Being a patron is not exclusively for royals. Camilla was patron of many organizations prior to marrying P of W.

I'm not sure if this is a recent video or not (maybe someone here could help me out) but here's one I found:

'Countess' isn't that a royal title, so she still royal?
she gets same attention as a royal princess.

She visited a flat where the Parkinson organisation in Denmark had placed a lot of balls, so the countess could feel how it is to have Parkinson.

It was a title the queen gave her, when she divorced Prince Joachim. She has no connection to the royal house anymore. She's allowed to vote now as well, which royals can't.

Countess is a title of the nobility, but it's true that the Danish Royals use the title of Count/Countess for their family members who've fallen out with the system for one reason or the other.

Does anyone know why she's on the front of Her og Nu (I don't speak Danish, so I'm curious to know) Thanks!
