Mathilde's golden outfit really goes together well with the beauty of the room she's in.

Could Mathilde be wearing an outfit from Armani?
BTW this new year's reception was for the members of NATO and Shape.

OK - that makes alot of sense. Does anyone know who the highly decorated military man is that is in conversation with King Albert at the table in one photo and standing talking with the Queen in another? He looks vaguely familiar. I don't know if that is Armani but the royal blue or purple color looks so nice on Mathilde. Also, did anyone notice the Queen's unique fur coat from the memorial service last week? It almost looks as though there are three different "tails" coming out the front from top to bottom - like they might be the way the coat closes in front. I thought it was very interesting.

Yes, it's Armani Cathérine. I found the runway picture (different colour though). It's from Fall/Winter 2005 from Emporio Armani:

Thanks Jelka!!! It looks beautiful on Mathilde, purple is a color she doesn't wear very often and this outfit is very stylish!
Emily, the "decorated man" is US General James L. Jones, NATO's supreme allied commander for Europe. he was also at last year's reception

Purple Platinum thanks for these great sets of photos. Can someone tell me what S.H.A.P.E. stands for? Is it another military/peacekeeping organization?
As I said, Mathilde looks wonderful -- I wonder what she talks about with some of these people? It would be interesting to get to eavesdrop.
