On the occasion of the 175/25 celebrations the exhibition "Art Nouveau & Design, 1830-1958" is organized at the KMKG in Bussels. Our princess Astrid made a visit to it (Sept. 9). This was of course before the news of Laura's accident came.

Princess Astrid visits the new plant of the hightechnological bio-pharmaceutical production of the company Genzyme Flanders in Geel.

In this week's point de vue, you can see a large photo of Astrid and Lorenz attending the wedding of princess Anna Cecilia de bourbon-Siciles and count Rodolphe de Causans, in Turin. The wedding took place on September 17. Luisa Maria and Joachim were there also.


Astrid was very elegant, in a faded pink dress from Chanel, a short tulle shawl and an elegant hat in the same color.

Lorenz is a first cousin of the bride.

I like the fact that Astrid has been wearing quite a bit of Chanel lately. For me it remains the best haute couture (and most stylish) there is, and it looks especially good on slim 40-something women like Astrid.

I adore Natan and Watelet as well, but it's nice there's some change and that they're not all wearing the same.

The older she gets, the more intrested in fashion. Wisdom comes with the years :):):)

Princess Astrid participated in a working session on poverty in the Belgian senate. Like her 2 brothers, Astrid is a senator.

I admire Astrid very much too. In fact, I must say she is what every princesses (born onto royalty or not) should be. She is also a good example to all of us, imo.
