I bet she had a ball at that museum, we have one here where I love and children just love all of the hands-on stuff they can do. It's pretty cool for adults too!!

Young Elisabeth is a very pretty little girl. In pic 2 posted by Mandyy(post 82), her profile sure does favor her father. I love seeing royal children attend child-friendly events with their parents. It's a nice break from the norm.

Great shots of Elisabeth, especially that handshake with a museum staff memberr. Yes, Princess Elisabeth is very poised and very regal! Hope to see more of her..... among her generation (of future heirs and heiresses), she is the most poised. Even with such poise, you can still see the joy in her expression. Such a sweet combination.

I'm sure she enjoyed that trip so much. Children of her age are described as curious, imaginative and creative. She looks so cute holding that plastic pizza on her way to the oven

That's not true. In Belgium children are 6 years old when they have their first communion, so I expect it will be next year. I suspect it'll be a private occasion (like their baptisms), but we'll see some pictures.

Interesting, in the U.S. the current age is between 7 and 8 years of age. Typically children have had about two years of preparation either from a parochial school (private) or at religous education (for public school students.)

So, I think that depends. In Portugal is at 8/9 years and in Spain too. Felipe Juan Froilán had his first communion on 24th May and he is 8 years.
