I know I said it just a few days ago but it can't be said enough - absolutely wonderful pictures. I agree with you - she does look radiant. Somehow you keep posting pictures of this couple that I haven't seen before on other boards - keep up the great job and thank you. :)

I think the fuschia pink looks so vibrant and energizing on Mathilde. It brightens her face up even more! She looks glowing and radiant. I'm so glad that she wears this colour now and then, particularly at the El Pardo dinner in Spain back in May.
She is one of the few current princesses who wears bright colours now and then rather than the dreary, drab "safe" colours of white, beige, black and navy blue all the time.

8th September 2004, the duke and duchess of Brabant were present at the official opening of the exposition of Dalí's sculptures. It took place at the domaine of the castle of Roeulx.

7th September 2004,
the duchess of Brabant visited a workshop for mentally handicapped people, Lidwina, in Mol, a village in Flanders. I've translated the introduction of an article about it, in today's newspaper.
Princess Mathilde’s visit to the workshops of Mol was the height of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Lidwina foundation. The workshop for mentally handicapped persons employs 420 people and nearly all of them were greeted personally by the princess. “We’re proud of the interest she shows in the goals of these workshops, namely the integration of people with a handicap,” says executive secretary Jean-Paul Melis.

I like the picture in which they are both kind of wondering what in the world Dali was thinking. Very funny.

One of the reasons why I like this couple so much, is because they know what working is, they're always busy.
Whilst other princes are on holiday most of the time, with an official duty in between two trips, these two are the opposite!!

I must say I disagree. I like this couple very much too, but I do not agree on what you say about the other princes. I'll take for example the Princes of Asturias, (I couldn't say much about the other ones, althgough I imagine it is the same) : since their wedding, well, ok, they went on a honeymoon (what's more natural), but then, they have been working very hard!! They went to Hungary, Austria (I think), Panama... and I can't even count how many official "appearances" they made in Spain, plus they were in Athens for the Olympics, etc...
That's why I would say they are not on holiday most of the time, maybe you feel this because lately the CPs have been travelling quite a lot...

A few years ago the entire Belgian royal family visited the Vatican, here you can see them with the pope. Philippe & Mathilde completely on the left.
