Crown Prince Philippe and Crown Princess Mathilde: February 2003 - February 2004
The royal court officially announced it. The baby is to be born in September. The due date is September 2. This is good news.

You're welcome! They seem like a wonderful family. I know this little one will be adorable, well-loved and cared for. I wonder if it will be a boy or a girl. I'm thinking another girl, but of course I don't know.

I kind of have the same feeling that it will be another girl, but who knows!  and I agree that Mathilde and Philippe seem like lovely people.

Mathilde wore this skirt on her and Phillippe's trip to the U.S. earlier this year. It reminds me of a cow, though. As lovely as Mathilde is (and absolutely glowing in these pictures) even she cannot pull off a cow print.

The man you're referring to is King Juan Carlos of Spain. The picture was taken during Spain's state visit two (?) years ago.
And if Phillippe was trying to keep Mathilde away from the King, he probably had good reason! The King is a well-known ladies man. :P If you believe the gossip, he had an affair with Princess Diana of Wales and several other ladies.

Check out Mathilde's growing belly! And I love her bottoms - but not sure if it is a skirt or wide-legged pants. Very colourful at any rate!

Mathilde has got to be one of the most stylish moms-to-be I have ever seen. I'm sure she will get a big bouquet of flowers from Phillippe and Mathilde for Mother's Day this Sunday. :flower: (Is Mother's Day celebrated in Belgium? Or is that just a North American tradtion?)

i love her pictures its lovely she famous wore tiara looks different and she have herself baby now ! she hold her flowers and she attending state wedding and banquet with family and state banquet she getting big busy for trip !
im not sure she looks taller like as Princess Diana ? like as 6'0 ? im 6'2 Princess Diana is 5'8 i think so im not sure what Princess Diana's height ?
