More or less she said how proud they are for the show, and for being in that beautiful concert theatre (it has been renouvated), that to play in Paris is remarkable and always prestigeous for a philarmonic orchestra, and that she was moved by the music performed, which if I heard correctly is the 8th by Wagner (she said, it's such a powerful composition that it stay "in" you for a while, even if you already knew it). She also mentioned the Ballet, who's preparing a new performance.

She always looks so relaxed and beautiful at this event; the one exception being the first time she did it after Stefano died. I think she's proud to perform this function, and that it's personally meaningful to her, as someone who is herself very highly educated in literature and has written for publication.

You are welcome and thanks to you too for finding and posting the newest pics, tbhrc
That dress she wore is really great, I like the combination of the colours and the fabric -
and Caroline looks fantastic with the hairstyle she has at the moment, doesn't she?

Here is an older picture from last December, at the inauguration of the Monaco Dance Forum. I think it is such a beautiful picture of the Princess. The teal or turquoise colored wrap is such a beautiful color for her. It's a new picture but she looks so young. Just like Charlotte, she always looks best with less makeup and futsying. Less is more, I think it's true of many women her age, for whom it's easy to overdo the makeup but that tiny bit too much makeup can be so unattractive. Princess Caroline has the good fortune to be at once youthful (in looks, in mind, in outlook, in spirit) and yet always age appropriate. Sometimes women approaching her age make the mistake of trying too hard to be young and hip or whatever, but she never does that. She's so balanced.
But I must wonder, between her being all cool and collected all the time, does she ever have crazy moments, like in a hurry and forgets her speech or something, or maybe she occasionally 'misses' her mouth and gets coffee on her new Chanel suit? Or does she ever go frantic and or ? Does she ever have a gaffe or over-the-top emotional moment, ever?

She looks stunning and she wears that dress better than Katie Holmes! I wonder if they'll stroll by Via Condotti and do some shopping in Rome.
BTW last night the Rolling Stones were in Rome, and Mick Jagger was also gonna attend the Valentino events.
I read that Karl Lagerfeld will also be attending the event tonight.

I haven't seen Alexandra in the longest time. I hope they brought her with them. She better not be in Paris with her nanny!

Wonderful additions you made, tbhrc, of their visit to the restaurant in Rome!
I love those close up pics with Caroline and her gestures and smiles. The third pic shows her wonderful profile.
The other two pics from the souvenir shop are also interesting, that seems to have something to do with
this year's focus on Grace. And again she wore an interesting new dress
