I think she almost doesn´t have any make-up in this pics, that makes her look older, i´m sure she looks even older with her face completly clean,she has smoked all her life and she loves to sunbathe. I´ve followed P. C. for more than 20 years and i´m used to see those beautiful portraits of her in her 30´s, i can´t believe she will be 50 in a little time,but time passes for everyone as she once said. Although i prefer the long hair she´s still beautiful.

I agree with you, royrrules. Though I guess we can't expect anyone to live up to the standard Grace set--not even her own daughter.

I don't think Caroline looks bad with short hair. I think it's the haircut: its is either a little too long or a little too short, as when one tries to grow it out. Also, short hair can look quite beautiful: Princess Diana was stunning in short hair, and PC had a fabulous haircut in 1997, after her hair started growing again.

Yes, thanks for the pics iceflower. I think she looks very elegant. I also think she is brave to try the new, shorter hairstyle. Maybe it isn't her best look, but perhaps she doesn't want to try and look the same as she did 20 years ago. Nothing wrong with someone's style evolving as they themselves grow older, to me it is preferable to someone who never changes their look.
As Veronique Vienne wrote, 50 is the age of elegance! I think Princess Caroline has that wrapped up.
