Well, for people like us who speak Spanish it's quite amusing, but some people find it annoying. And of course they don't change Andrea or Pierre's names! Andrea is a girl's name in Spanish and I don't even know the equivalent of Pierre in Spanish. Probably Pedro....!

Ani

 I think Andrés would be the equivalent in spanish for Andrea and yes, Pedro would be the equivalent for Pierre. Quite amusing haha.

Those are some funny people!
The pic of Ernst's behind will haunt me forever!:ROFLMAO:
And the link to the pics tbhrc posted with the date 16/7/2006, did someone notice something extra or my eyes are playing tricks on me? ( the last two pics in the second row )

oh my cro girl. you got some sharp eyes, if my eyes are seeing correctly.

Spain has a long tradition of translating the names of all foreign royals (and some princes like the grimaldis). We always talk of the english royal family as Isabel, Carlos, Andrés,Enrique and Guillermo (Elizabeth, Charles, Andrew, Henry and William). We also say Federico de Dinamarca, Diana de Gales etc...
The weird thing is that nobody ever translated Andrea and Pierre's names. I wonder why.

Yes, I know the tradition, I'm part Spanish and have read many magazines and books in Spanish, we do have the habit of translating names. I think Pierre's name has never been translated because then in would be Pedro and that's way too different from Pierre in spelling. Andrea is already a latin name so they haven't translated his, even though it would be Andres.

What do you think of Princess Caroline's new haircut? It's so short. Can't decide if I like it or not as I'm so used to seeing her with long hair.

She's not beautiful...
shes GORGEOUS :winkiss:

I don't know if it's her "best" look, but I think she looks fabulous with whatever hairstyle she chooses! I also think it's great that she changes her look around, how much more fun for us to see the different fashions and hairstyles than if she looked the same all the time.

I heard that Princess Caroline and Charlotte Casiraghi made the list of Vanity fair for the best dressed of 2006.

Charlotte and Prince Ernst-August made the list, but not Princess Caroline.

Which is ridiculous because Ernst-August couldn't dress himself before Caroline.

Well, you know what I mean...nicely.

I've just checked the pictures in the second row what you've mentioning and I just can't belive what I see. When I've glanced it the first time I did not notice, you have really sharp eyes. And like you are saying the pictures with Ernst will stay in my memory forever. dede

Yep, the image of Ernst's nekkid behind is burned into my retinas!! But I actually think he looks sort of cute--must be my age coming through--at 20 I'd have been grossed out beyond belief but now, at 41, I'm thinkin' it's not bad, not bad at all! :ROFLMAO:
I hope I have the right thread, Maybe it was the PACHA thread. Sorry guys.

I'm not sure I like Princess Carolines new shorter hairstyle. It does make her look younger though.

Come one you can't be serious! That's even more scary than Freddy Krueger!:ROFLMAO:

The capton says Pierre is changing his swimming trunks. We should have read Novella to know and see...(Un)fortunately I was away on holiday ;-)

Hee Hee! Crogirl I think he has a cute behind and that's as far as it goes:ROFLMAO: -I don't want to be unkind but I don't think Ernst's face is very handsome-sorry to any that may think he's cute:flowers:

^^I'd show you a picture of what I call a cute behind but I don't think those kind of pics are for this type of forum! (it's not porn, and I'm not a freak!)

btw I don't find Ernst's facial features attractive either, and I can't get over the fact that Caro could have done so much better ( in mens department) but it's her life and it's her choice, this is only my opinion!

I totally agree with you, I think Caro could have done WAY better, but I think she's happy. And what Ernst lacks in looks, he makes up for in personality, I'm sure.

I really do hope he has a great personality, but I can't help looking back at his escapades and wonder! Hopefully he is one of those people who go crazy in public and calm down at home, otherwise I would be asking myself 'What is wrong with Caro?'. Even with her escapades as a young girl she always left the impression of a wise and sort of femm fatale woman and I don't know what I would think if I knew she tolerates a complete idiot. But as I sadi that is my opinion. What I wish and think has no influence on her life.

I agree with cro girl about ernst must have some kind of personality when with his family, hope the past is past (with his heath problems) and they will have a happy future together, anyway in many public appearence ernst is a handsome husband to caro, he looks always very confident with the monaco family

Charlotte and Princess Caroline both looked STUNNING in the pics from Hola!!
