It´s so good to see P. Caroline, once again taking part in a principality event... She's so absent from Monaco life these years. It's a pity though that neither the Casiraghi nor the Ducruet siblings don't involve themselves in these acts. After all Monaco's their legacy ( their emotional, cultural... roots ), they should take better care of it

How it is amazing and nice to see that Princess Caroline is really caring, loving and pay attention to children with great smiling....

Merry Christmas to everyone ! :flowers:

Nijinsky awards

Does anyone know if the Nijinsky awards will be held this year? Since the last one was in Dec 2006, and they have held them every two years since 2000, I was hoping to see them this year.

You are right, it would be held this month in December 2008 but I didn't find the dates? Maybe this week end as from 19th to 21th Dec ?
Cross our fingers !

The short article only says that Charlene wasn't there
and that she neither was present at the Christmas tree
auction Albert attended a few days earlier ( you can
find pics of that in his current events thread). The rest
of the article says that Stephanie, Caroline and Albert
made a lot of children happy with lots of presents and
a nice and colourful pre-christmas party (inauguration
of the traditional Christmas tree) :)

 ohhh i lovvve that tie!! hee. At first glance that looked like the wrinkle dog was with Pa and Caroline!! From the looks of things Pa must have had his work cut out for him if there were 600 children that's a lottt of christmas wrapping, one of everyone's fav hobbies! Some of those presents were pretty big so surely everyone must have had a good time!! :harvest::candycane::poinsettia:

Yeah I am also wondering about the Nijinsky Awards, they should be held some time these days. Anyone know anything about them?

What a great, charitable event - for both the senior citizens, and school children; nice thing the family does each year to stay connected to their subjects.

I think so too. It's great to see all three of them there this year. I bet everyone looks forward to it - I think it's a really nice event.:flowers:

:wub:o-m-G those adorable little "ears" and hats they are simply so fab pics. Pa Caroline and Stephanie looked like they were having a 'great" time this year and it shows!!! So glad to have more pics of the events!!!:harvest::bauble::poinsettia:

Nijinsky Awards

I tried to find out something about the Nijinsky Awards
and after all I think it won't take place this year, but
in December 2009. That would be unusual as so far
it has taken place in the form of a biennial, but if you
check the site monacodanceforum it says "Next edition
December 2009" and on another site I've found the - "not
yet confirmed" dates December 12-19, 2009.

Thanks Iceflower for the information, it's kind of unusual that they changed the dates. We'll have to wait till next year then :D

Albert and Stephanie to go to Germany this Febuary

Albert will be in Duesseldorf on Monday to attend a charity dinner to collect money for foundations to prevent climat change and environment damage.

Stephanie will be present at this years Berlinale, a film festival in Berlin.
She'll arrive Febuary 12th. She'll attend the TEDDY Awards as a guest of UN ambassador and new UNAIDS coordinator Michel Sidibe.

That's great news, thanks Michelle for letting us know! :)
Albert's visit to Germany had already been announced last year,
but Steph at the Berlinale is a real surprise.

As it's not a joint visit of both of them at the same event, please
let us discuss each event in their respective current events threads.

:flowers: Cool photos of the days game. Pa looks adorable in the baseball cap!! Hopefully the team PA and his cousins were roooting for wooooon!!!! Are PA's cousin's residing in Monaco. It's great that they are able to visit and often hopefully!!

I like to see pictures of Grimaldis together. I think that while Albert is in charge de Massy family shows more often in public, especially Antoinette, Elizabeth and Melanie. It seems in pic#2 that Elizabeth brought some cute little dog. :)

Today pics of Stephanie an Caroline together in www.gamma.fr
Nice to see pics of Grimaldi sisters together.

Pics 3.4.2009

What a wonderful idea - a cooperation between Caroline's AMADE
organisation and Steph's FIGHT AIDS Monaco organisation!

Sisters Princess Caroline of Hanover, left, president of Amade World, and
Princess Stephanie of Monaco, president of FightAids Monaco, signing the
Amade Burundi agreement renewal at the hotel de Paris in Monaco, April 3,
2009. The main purpose of the agreement is helping fighting against poverty,
helping orphans and helping people who are suffering from HIV.

The pic of them both wearing glasses and signing the agreement is
really nice :)
