Polfoto 17-12-2003 - Monaco, December 17, 2003. Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie deliver presents to the children of Monaco during the traditional Christmas Tree at the Grimaldi Palace. Prince Rainier was not there due to a bad flue. He is actually at the hospital and will stay a couple of days
Wonderful pics, Alexandria! Thank you for posting them.
Caroline and Stephanie look a little overwhelmed, don't they? Perhaps it's because Rainier is ill...
Some pics from HELLO! plus a story.
18 DECEMBER 2003
Prince Rainier of Monaco's three children joined forces on Wednesday, helping kick off the festive season by distributing gifts to children at the royal palace.
While Prince Albert, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie were on hand to bring some holiday cheer to the youngsters, their 80-year-old father was unable to attend.
The Monegasque monarch, who traditionally joins in the pre-Christmas fun, was hospitalised earlier this week after being stricken with the flu. Rainier is expected to remain under a doctor's care in a cardiac unit for several days as a result of complications from the illness.
A palace source told Agence France Presse that the prince, who has been plagued by health problems in recent years, is expected to be released in time to spend Christmas with his family, and his condition is no cause for concern.

Not exactly from the same event, but still the Grimaldi's handing out Christmas gifts ...
Polfoto 17 December 2003 - Monaco - Princess Stephanie of Monaco and Prince Albert delivered Christmas gifts to the children of Monaco at Fatima's nursery school. The children presented a musical comedy to Albert and Stephanie of Monaco.
You know, I've never had an impression of Stephanie one way or another but these pictures make her far more appealing. She seems to like what she's doing and is affectionate with the children. Maybe it's hard to reconcile this with the stories and pictures that aren't always flattering? :flower:
Could someone please post the pictures from brainpix of the family during Easter?? I don't know how to on an apple computer!! Thanks bunches
Thanks for posting them montecarlo. It's a shame that they are not very clear and so very far way, with the Brainpix watermark cut right through the middle though. Hopefully IBL or Polfoto will have clearer pictures.
Where did various members of the family spend the holidays? There is no caption here.
You're welcome, Alexandria and Lauren. The Grimaldis usually spend their Easter holiday in Monaco. The pictures you've just seen shows the backyard of the princely palace. By the way, I added three more pictures.
I just was reading the May issue of Town & Country and it says " The Principality of Monaco and Town & Country present 'A Magical Evening of Spectacular Entertainment' on May 25 in New York City to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital & Variety. Tickets are $350 per person and include access to an exclusive Tapis Rouge reception, luxury silent auction & cocktail supper, premium seating at Cirque de Soleil's Algerga and more."
Then later in the magazine it has an add saying:
A wish, a promis, a dream fulfilled...
in the Principality of Monaco
The Principality of Monaco cordially invites you to The Night for the Children Gala
in the presence of His Serene Highness Crown Prince Albert of Monaco,

YEAH!!! I bet Caroline will be there because she loves children so much!!! I can't wait to see the pictures from the events...
oh the bottom it has a picture of Amber Valletta (David Yurman model) and it says "It's so important to support the work of St. Jude. Please join me in Monaco for this glamorous event."-- model and actress Amber Valletta, celebrity spokesperson for the Night of the Children Gala
I hope it's not another model hook-up for Albie!!
Hi, does anybody know when the finale is and will it be in Monaco? I`m not really a football-fan, but if the Grimaldis are there I would watch it. B) Have a nice day, charchar
