Yesterday, June 7, Prince Albert attended the 60th anniversary of the Monaco Yacht Club. Prince Emanuele Filiberto was received as a new member of the club.

On June 10 Prince Albert has opened this year's Monacology Event (the Monegasque week for environmental awareness) at Port Hercule.

Today, June 16, Prince Albert attended the 3rd edition of the Women's FxPro Monte-Carlo Beach Volleyball tournament.

The Princely Palace has announced today that Prince Albert will be on a two-day visit to Jerusalem, Israel, on June 18 and 19, on the occasion of the 90th birthday of President Shimon Peres (born August 2, 1923).

On 18 June, the Sovereign will visit the Yad Vashem Memorial and participate in a tree-planting ceremony reserved for Heads of State (...) (He) will see the multimedia exhibition dedicated to the human brain in the presence of renowned scientists.

The Franco-Iberian Royals Message Board: Prince Sovereign meets the Press....

Albert II has some interesting events coming up in the autumn. Sept 23-25 is the UN General Assembly in NYC with Monaco holding the Vice Presidency of this session of the UN General Assembly. In October he has a 5 day political/economic/cultural visit to Russia. He will be accompanied by 50 business leaders and the Monte Carlo Ballet will perform during the visit.

Albert II certainly seems to make many more of these diplomatic/political/economic/cultural type visits than his father ever did. I am not sure if Rainier ever made these type of visits outside of France/Italy/Ireland/USA where as Albert II has traveled the globe since coming to the throne.
