Lakshmi, you put your finger on an important relationship; Christiane Stahl has been regarded for many years as "the power behind the throne" at the Pink Palace. She has offered her resignation a few times, but is still there......
Here is a brilliant article from the French newspaper "Nouvel Observateur" which gives an insight into the machinations of the Monegasque elite.

Albert looks slim again on those pics posted by iceflower. Wonder if his weight is always on and off or maybe one time he wears better tailored suit one time not.
Here is some interview he gave just before going to Turkey:
Monaco’s Albert II calls access to water a right
I like what he said that access to water is a right.
Some other article about Water Forum, and small pic with Albert.

There were some riots during forum.

Belga pictures has some more pics of PA from Forum in Turkey. Looks like Willem-Alexander was there too.

Naruhito of Japan was also there.
Belga picture ID 13039956 shows Albert and Abdullah Gül in good spirits!
There were riots outside the conference building.
Albert's speech has been quoted widely...

Monaco.mc - 20th March 2009 (Monaco's main internet provider; Albert regularly gives interviews to the station, including phone-ins)
Mon Monaco vu par Son Altesse Sérénissime le Prince Albert II | Portail info Monaco#
Albert reveals his seven favourite views of Monaco in a new feature named "Mon Monaco". The images are watermarked "copyright Palais Princier" and include views of the sea, of Monaco, the Palace, the Prince's private pool in the palace grounds, the harbours, the narrow lanes, and an aerial view.
Albert gives a commentary (in French) on the images, and why he chose them.
Anyone need a translation?

PA has matured quite well. he has a lot of work that he has been doing since taking the throne.
His pics reveal he is changing indeed for the better. obviously he's been training, do you suppose??
the pics were wonderful the outfit against the backdrop of beautiful sails is an alluring pic.
He always looks very good in a nautical setting. it seems to suit him quite well!! he always seems as in his element. Hopefully we will have some PA pics today as to what he's been into at water forum or anyplace else!

Forum Cinema and Literature again .... I find it interesting that Albert doesn't mind not being in the centre of the picture.
