Albert a gentleman?!..excuse me whilst I:ROFLMAO:

Just curious as to why you spend so much time on the Monaco boards since you exhibit such distain for all members of the family. Surely it is a waste of both your time and emotions.:whistling:

Maybe it's hard for you to believe but I like the Monaco Royal Family apart from Albert and just because I like them does'nt mean that I have to have a one tract mind and put on some blinders.I don't like Charlene's style and I don't like how she changed from that sweet woman pre-marriage to Albert to this stranger (...)You don't ell me what to do on this board cos I don't ask you why you're here..this is a public forum where people come and express how they feel.

It's not a waste of my time, just so you know.

I wasn't telling what to do or what not to do. I merely asked a question based on not ever seeing you write anything positive about a living member of the family. It piqued my curiosity but was not meant to offend.

I do say positive things about the family(minus Albert) and I will say positive things about the family when I deemed so and not because I should, all the time..and for the record,I do like Charlene.

These two do not have the faintest idea of how wonderful they look, projecting their natural affinity to one another, not having to demonstrate they are a perfect couple. Of course there are those who say that affinity is a desperate attempt to quiet the rumors and the bad press they had for their first anniversary. Funny, I must have slept though the newspapers and TV on their first anniversary. I saw nothing of the sort.

I didn't see any newspaper or TV coverage of their wedding anniversary whatsoever, either negative or positive.

I'm personally not a fan of couples kissing each other in front of others at official work events, unless it's as a greeting or something. We've never seen QEII and the DoE kiss in public and yet no-one could doubt the genuine love and respect there.

They really do work well together when out-and-about - none of this 'you're on your own, dear' - or belief in their own solitary celebrity - no going for the crowds. I find it refreshing.
Do you mean like personally interacting with the crowd? Charlene and Albert did greet the crowd and sign a few autographs. I thought that was really nice. I like seeing royals interact with the public/fans.

This is the Prince and Princess of Monaco - different strokes for different folks. Its a different country - warmer climes tend to be more expansive and physically demonstrative. Why compare them to what your British royals would or would not do - surely that is not a valid yardstick - and is a bit lacking in graciousness towards the ways of other places, no? The public warmth and ease of this couple is pleasant and normal for many more people than not - so there you go.

I think their kiss is cute. Kind of doing it but with those 'outie' lips it looks amusing - like an in-joke.

Charlene has taken a leaf out of Kates book and re-cycled some of her clothes on this German tour. Good to see:flowers::flowers::flowers:

debrann, Kate isn't the only royal who recycles. There ARE other royals in the world. Almost all the queens and princesses recycle their clothes rather frequently. It's nothing new.

I think "reclycing" which really means wearing several times an outfit in public, gives a good message in this crisis.

:previous: I guess the feeling is that the other royal ladies have no initiative of their own in wearing a beautiful item more than once. Sigh....

Has the Princess Charlene many jewels at present? She hardly ever seems to wear any? I suppose Albert's sisters inherited all of Princess Grace's jewellery? Did she leave any pieces for Albert's future wife at all?

putting Grace's jewellery aside ,Charlene has LOTS of jewelery of her own, other than those that she can borrow and does borrow from Repossi and Montblanc. why she doesn't wear them often? obviously cause she doesn't feel like it!

Charlene looks very happy and radiant. I don't agree with some of her clothing choices, but I'm not her, so there you go.

But surely she should take the sunglasses off her head when making official visits and engagements? JMO

Their visit was ok. German newspapers are all good about them.
But I guess the pregnancy rumors won't disappear over night.

Seeing Franziska van Almsick again, blabbing about their so called great friendship was the most annoying part of the visit!

It appears they have 10 athletes going. I am guessing most in some kind of aquatic sport.

:previous:

Monaco will have 6 athletes!

If you look at one of the group pictures you'll see (besides Prince Albert, Princess Charlene and Yvette Lambin-Berti, General Secretary of the Monegasque Olympic Committee (the middle-aged lady)): Angélique Trinquier (swimming – 100m backstroke), Hervé Banti (triathlon), Brice Etèes (athletics – 800m), Damien Desprat-Lerale (sailing), Mathias Raymond (rowing – skiff) and Yann Siccardi (Judo – under 60kg category).

Yes, Monaco has 6 athletes going to the Games. Team SA consists of 125 athletes, 67 male and 58 female. Swimmers total 20, 2 of these in open water events. I am sure the Monegasque swimmer will be invited to train with the SA squad, and PC will lend a hand since they are both backstroke specialists.

.

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene attended the traditional candlelight dinner organized annually by the Monaco
Town Hall on July 19, 2012.
