Well first you have to realize how the questions are phrased and who they consider Catholic in the polls. Someone can call themselves Catholic and they haven't set foot at Mass in 10 years.

When you ask the same questions of faithful weekly Mass attenders you get very different answers. So be careful about what you believe simply because a poll says it.

The Church is not a hypocrite because there are sinful people among Her. There will be tares among the wheat until the harvest.

I believe you are in error about the situation in Kansas City. There was no coverup. The priest was turned over to authorities when the allegations were made and he has gone thru the criminal justice system and been found guilty.

My God! why this hysteric language? Actually in Europe they are million of people living free sexual relations and one day they marry in church and they are not rejected! Spaniards or Italians or Polish, considered very Christian, but other nationalities also. The Church accepts all people willing to get in!
Living in sin ! for Charlotte! wake up all! she is 26! and she is the majority!
 
You are half right Pranter. The priest admitted yesterday to 5 counts of child pornography. A life sentence will be proposed by the prosecution. The bishop and the Kansas City/St Joseph Diocese trial starts 9/24 for failing to report suspected child abuse . It is the cover story in this mornings Kansas City Star.

As for the first matter, once you are accepted into any religion who are always a member unless you are kicked out or transfer to a different religion.I also think the US has a much higher percentage of actively practicing Catholics than, for example, Europe.

I agree to disagree and as this is off topic we should probably move on to a new subject.

The "Catholic" nature of the Monaco royals seems to be hypocritical, as they all seem to live this way. And of course it's true of other royals but not all.
The Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg presents a picture of a family living as Catholics. Some of them have stepped outside the rules occasionally, but not in an "in your face" sort of way.
For this reason I find the Monaco royals interesting, as we all do, but something is wrong with them in the head if they think they are living as Catholics.

Yes it does! It which other time there was equal rights for homosexuals as regard marriage, adoption, etc? It is starting to happen now. Did people divorce 200 years ago? I believe calling someone who´s dating someone a sinner is beyond old-fasioned not to say ridiculous. What is she supposed to do? Live like a nun? Hide at home because she has a boyfriend? Or worst, not having a healthy relationship with her boyfriend because her family is catholic?

As for the Monaco family being hipocritical,What about Fekipe of Spain and Philip of Belgium? Dis they only have one girlfriend?

Because something is now permitted by society does not mean it's no longer a sin or that it should be done.

I didn't say dating was sinful so that's not part of what I'm talking about.

How is any of this about a current event? Unless she is shown attending a religious service lets leave religion and "sin" out of things.

Who are you or the Church to say what it is permitted and how people should live? It is sinful for you and a bunch of fanatics from Rome. Leave her alone!! Being in love is healthy!
 
Yes some things are sinful, dating is not and I never said it was.

If you don't believe some things are a sin then what difference does it make to you what I think? I have a differing opinion from yours or is that not allowed?

Of course opinions are allowed but what has any of this to do with Charlottes current events on a royal forum? Surely there are other places on the internet to discuss religion, morality and sin.

There have been a few fashion articles about Charlotte, mainly in New York, but most people here don't know who the Casis are.

They were at "INK" restaurant on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood close to N. Sweetzer Avenue. Actress Grace Kelly once lived in an apartment with Rita Gam on N. Sweetzer Avenue. Just some trivia.
 
I live within walking distance of Melrose and Sweetzer...literally right around the corner! :whistling:
 
Are the pics from the supermarket still in LA? I wonder why they have been there for so long... just holidays? They don't seem to be staying in a hotel since they are grocery shopping... Maybe Gad has a house there or maybe they rented one and are in LA due to Gad's work and thus temporarily living there

Vincent Lindon...who famously dated Charlotte's mother in the years immediately following Stefano's death and who, according to some reports, Caroline came close to marrying?

That of course would have made him Charlotte's step-father. Indeed, Vincent was said to have grown quite close to Charlotte and her brothers.
