Oh I doubt she'll end up picking up where her grandmother left off in H-wood but I think she has probably toyed with the fact that she could. I would think she is well aware of her fame and beauty...and from different things I've read she has been approached by Hollywood studios and magazines to do covers.

Her mother would literally spit up kittens.

:ohmy::lol::ohmy:kittens?! H-m-m-m never heard thaaat one before tee hee! It's probably entirely possible that if she or her family wanted exclusivity to a brand they would probably get it on just beauty alone.
:flowers:But, the problem is then they would become "advertising" property instead of just being themselves. Besides, everything they use(as far as toiletries beauty etc) is public knowledge so just the public knowledge of the companies they use in their daily lives is selling point enough for the manufacturers.
So, really tieing themsleves into a contract probably wouldn't be something they would probably consider the "smart way to go". don't you think?
Also, when some of those celebrities agree to advertise with a company; it means every time the celebrity goes out anywheres they "have" to use the product(s) they are in contract with. Which is fine for the h-wood crowd. But it couldn't possibly be "fun" for the royal family to be stuck into being the "walking billboard" scenario.
Most of us have heard where companies get pretty upset with those h-wood startlets that are contracted to wear their products and the starlet waltzes out of the house without their product on or :eek: wears another manufacturers products, then the startlet can face lawsuits.
Wearing all manufacturer's products when one wants to is too much fun to have to be stuck wearing only one item(s) all the time; making life a rather limited existence. Especially since they don't need the money.

Yeah I will agree on two things: she needs a bra and to eat. Those earlier photos were deceiving I just thought her weight was adjusting and her belly was going to the breasts. The dress isn't flattering it makes her look like she has a pooch belly. I don't think she's ever really thought of Hollywood seriously. She seems to shy and irritated with cameras so I don't think she would like the spot light. If she did ads I think it would be great if she did something Italian. I want something sophisticated and sexy, but not Chanel. Although, with as much as she wears she might as well get paid and swag.
 
You know that line of spitting up kittens was great, I had a visual. Are you trying to say something about Caroline? Hehe she is probably nice. Thanks for the Jumping pics. I don't see all the fuss about the blue dress, I thought it was fabulous. I also thought it was sweet and cool that she is so close to her little sister.

I agree. The color looks very good on her, but she does need a bra. I'm so-so on the dress. Maybe if it didn't have all that extra fabric in the middle area.
 
Oh I'm always so jealous when those Grimaldi/Casiraghi/von Hannover summer pictures come out :)
I would love to trade lives with them, only for one summer!

As for the dress: I like Charlotte more in tighter fitting clothes, she looks a bit pregnant to me in this dress.

I agree with Giov. I think it would not be "controversial" for the Casiraghis, UNLESS in the case of Andrea IF he is one day Prince of Monaco. But this is doubtful, especially because Albert seems likely to make his relationship with Charlene official. So I think it unlikely to matter what kind of cultural/ethnic/whatever identities the Casiraghis marry into. I mean, look at Princess Caroline's third marriage, outside the Roman Catholic church, and the Casiraghis don't even have her kind of official status. But in any case, it looks like Andrea might marry a Catholic girl anyway, for I believe Tatiana is Catholic, and ........ well, I don't think Charlotte will marry Alex Dellal, but hypothetically speaking, if she does, isn't he Catholic on his mother's side? :unsure:

Lovely, understated dress, with a nice, subtle yet brilliant color (if you know what I mean), Charlotte! But, and I see it happening all the time, why can't they guys make a little effort and honor their escorts or hosts by dressing up a little bit too ? Where are the Cary Grant days when the men were the equals of women when it came to dressing ? The same thing happened with bathing suits : the women's got tinier and tinier, the men's got bigger and bigger. There is no justice !

Nice dress: feminine and simple. I wish Charlotte kept her hair up all the evening, she looked lovely this way. Oh, I really can't look at her boyfriend Alex, I just don't find him cute.

I know!!!! I miss the old days of gentlemen fashion. Like you, I don't understand the modern approach to guys' fashion. Why is sloppy so fashionable? Do women today really find this attractive? I don't........ ;)

char and alex are everywhere in socialite events.wow!but could alex pls let char walked first ,it seems like it is unappropriate and not in a good manner too left your gf behind you while you are walking alone,like you dont know who is she

Well I doubt she would ever consider hollywood. She speaks English, but with a French accent; it isn't even her second language. it isn't really something someone in her position would consider anyway.

I absolutely love the dress Charlotte wore to Uma Thurman's engagement party, but I hate the one she wore to the 'Obsessed by You' exhibition. I just have never liked women wearing light blue. The color has always seemed childish to me. And Alex, well, if Char took the time to doll herself up you'd think he could muster up the energy to put on some khakis.:ermm:

Regarding Hollywood... I wouldn't like and I doubt that Charlotte would ever grace the big screen. Salma Hayek speaks her English in a Spanish accent, and some actors like Matthew McConaughey don't even bother or haven't got the talent to change their accents. It's about likeability and Charlotte would sell tickets, although she's not widely known in the U.S of A. As much as I dream of her modeling Chanel I much rather see her as a fashion journalist. -- And without Alex.;)

I've been meaning to thank Giov and CasiraghiTrio for taking the time to give me their opinions on the whole Catholic/Non-Catholic discussion.:flowers:

I could only see one image from that gallery, but from what I saw.. Charlotte looked "wow". I loved the shape and the color complimented her eyes. Light blue isn't for everyone, but with olive skin and wow the eyes.

I have that H&M dress and think Charlotte's dress is the same.
I would love it that she wore clothes that 'normal' people can afford too :)
 
^All this talk about Char's dress coming from H&M makes me want to pop into the H&M on hollywood blvd which I never shopped at before. I wonder if it could still be there......... I've never worn a "Charlotte dress" in my life. :D
 
Man! She sure does bring Alex everywhere with her. It's something I wish she would have done more with Felix, but obviously she was younger and did not go out as much.
I'll keep my opinions about Alex to myself, but evidently she really is completely in love with him :in_love:
 
Who knows and maybe this dress will be H&M's most sold item of the week...and it will be sold out... It's nice to see she wears non designer stuff.

Are there any more pics from the Testino event?
