They are entitled to live their lives the way they choose (and even spend time with their son and don't just leave him to a nanny, which is a big plus in my book), but do we actually know that they didn't have him baptised already?

Tatiana Santo Domingo attended the Christian Dior show as part of Paris Fashion Week Haute-Couture Fall/Winter 2013-2014 at Hotel Des Invalides on July 1 in Paris.

Ms. Santo Domingo's dress and look appear to be unkempt. I understand that she happens to be rich enough not to care about her looks. At the same time, a bit of polish will not hurt her.

I am never read of any of the Grimaldis claiming to be especially devout. Like most of the RC population in France I expect they are more culturally Catholic than anything else, and like others in the general pop use the RCC for weddings, christenings, funerals and maybe mass at Christmas and Easter. The pews are not exactly packed every Sunday. Decisions about when/if someone marries and the baptism of children are really just a personal decision.

It could already have happened. No reason why we would know.

When are they getting married? Their baby is very handsome

.

As the discussion about laws in the United States had no longer anything to do with the couple's current events, a couple of posts have been deleted as off-topic. Thanks for your understanding.

:previous:

Look at that huge baby! :D

Stefano Casiraghi's first grandkid, nice to think his lineage lives on. :flowers: You don't doubt he's a baby boy, he'll be very handsome. Looks like Tatiana, I think.

Omgg, Sacha is so cute! he has the cleft chin of Stefano and the Grimaldi pout lol .What an absolute cutie!

They look like great parents,it is lovely to see them together with their baby Sasha!
It is really a big baby, such a cute boy:) I like it when babies have full cheeks and a pout like Sacha does,
it will be interesting to see him grow up.

Tatiana looks so great for someone who gave birth so recently. She looked awesome even when heavily pregnant. Their baby is such a peach. :)

Given that Albert is so young and under normal circumstances he will rule for a couple of decades, I believe they'll spend most of their lives being private citizens most likely outside Monaco. Which is great, I admire that they're both so young yet so committed to each other. :) I hope they live good, long lives in harmony.

She really should work out and loose some weight... She looks sloppy!!!

She just gave birth a few months ago!! She has more important things to do than work-out.

There are more important things in life, and obviously Tatiana has discovered them. She looks healthy and happy.

She still has time to lose baby weight. I am sure that on her wedding day she will look beautiful!

I don't think Tatiana is a great beauty on the level of the Grimaldi/Casiraghi women-to be fair not many women in Royal Europe are imo. I am also not a fan of her fashion style.

But I do think she is lovely and has some of the most beautiful hair I have ever seen. And unlike many of the people in her circle she seems approachable and genuinely warm. I remember when she accompanied Andrea to the Philippines some years ago on behalf of AMADE. There were photos of her touring a particularly awful slum area and the look on her face as she held a poor woman's infant was a look of genuine distress and empathy. You cannot fake the expression I saw in that picture.

Those are the qualities I look for in a Royal and an average person..a sense that they are genuinely in tune with others, compassion. It can make the homeliest woman appear radiant imo.

I don't think of Tatiana as a royal. I do remember the visit w/Andrea, and I interpreted her shock as that of a neophyte and very sheltered person. And I don't mean that as a criticism. The rest of us on this board are neophytes and most likely, since we all have computers, very sheltered people.
Her actions of creating a business that sells goods from women around the globe that are struggling is admirable.

I don't think of her as a Royal either. But her social circle is certainly an aristocratic/high society/Royal one, and that was the context I was referring to.

She seems like a genuine, humane person. I don't get the same feeling from many of the others in that group.

Has a wedding date been set?
Actually yes. That's the relevant reference LadyFinn made in one of the posts above. :flowers:

"From the blog of brazilian Bruno Astuto in Epoca
Andrea and Tatiana are getting married in late August in Monaco and give a party to friends in January in Switzerland. They want the wedding to be a very private one. Sacha will be baptized in September in Monaco.

This isn't official information, of course."

I find it refreshing that Tatiana isn't obsessed about losing her baby weight, it's only natural that you gain weight when you're pregnant, why try to pretend that it isn't? I think Tatiana looks great. And as for the "sloppiness", they're on vacation. Correct me if I'm wrong, but to me vacation is about relaxing and not having to look all tidied up :ermm:

To me Tatiana looks fine, I don't see anything wrong with her weight. I find ridiculous how thin is always = beautiful, its the mentality people have but for me the inner self is what counts, no matter if the person is thin or not, because I know many great women who have "meat" and they are beautiful that way.

The obsession over weight can be frightening, because most of times it can be unhealthy and so it starts many eating disorders, and that happening to me. But we need to love ourselves for what we are, outside and inside, because we all are unique and diferent in our own ways, thank god I changed my mentality over this subject.

I'm sorry if I carried away with this...

I saw that pic as well and agree with you. However, I don't like her fashion style. It seems very boho-hippie to me, totally out-of-tune with a royal. More in line with progressive/rebels/socialists.

Argie, I agree that Tatiana dresses like a boho/hippie, but a socialist? Pierre's extremely elegant and well dressed aristocrat girlfriend Beatrice has at least once openly declared herself a Communist!

I don't think people with extreme leftist social positions necessarily dress a certain way. And lord knows there are some very badly dressed Royals.....
