she has pretty eyes, and pretty much inherit her mother & father's extremly good looks...
i think she'll grow up to be a very cute & beautiful child...

All the pictures are adorable! I love seeing how proud King Harald looks of his grand-daughter. Ingrid has amazing charisma for someone so young!

Wow!Thanks lots purple platinum. How cute Ingrid Alexandra is now!C, times so quick, she nearly 2 already(which in January still 2 months to go), and i would agree she has inherited the looks of both her parents really much, she does have much when she looks cross something her face exactly like MM, how beautiful daughter Haakon and MM have!Im sure Ingrid later will be a really wonderful Queen.

I don't know if this has been posted but King Harald, Queen Sonja, Princess Märtha Louise and Ari and Princess Ragnhild and her husband attended the memorial of the 100th birthday of Queen Astrid of Belgium. There are lots of pictures and Martha Louise looks great!!

Well, most people in the world are indifferent about royalty. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same specifically in Norway. We royal watchers do seem to be a rare breed.

I've put together some pictures of the Norwegian royals (totally random). Enjoy.

To night they showed the Year with the Royal Family in Norway on NRK, not really anything new or revealing although the King and Queen and Haakon did give short interviews.

There was some clips from the royal visits to and from Sweden, to Denmark, UK, USA. The showed some pictures from Mette-Marits visit to Malawi and the Queen said that making such visits to underdeveloped countries always made a huge impact and that it was very difficul to come home to all they have, and compare it to those who have nothing. They also talked about the role of the press on such visits to poor countries and what a difficult balance it is, on one side they think it is important to not shuw a camera in the face of people in need and that there needs to be possible to create a real dialogue but at the same time they need the media to spotlight the problems in the world (or if we take a slightly less nobel approach see them working )

They also talked about the military and that Haakon had been doing much with it this year when the King was sick but he would ressume that the next year or they would sometimes visit them together like Harald did with his father.

Then there was spotlight on the Queen and her promotion of out doors activites, they showed one thing where she was supposed to go skiing with some people to mark the "out doors year" but instead the rain was pissing down, but she still did the visit albeit not on ski and she was standing on the ice with some ice fishers and then the Ice started to make loud break sounds around her and she continued talking like she did not hear it. They also showed her visit to Queen Maud Land on the South Pole

They also showed some images of the feast Haakon and Mette-Marit had at Skaugum for people with mental problems, a lady gave a speech saying that when she got her invitation she would wake up at night and go to the fridge and see if it was still hanging there and not a dream.

The King said that Ingrid talked alot, but that she did not know enough words yet, and that she would get very furious when they did not understand what she was saying, and he though she would be quite the talker in the future. They also showed some more shots of her from the NRK interview with the King and Crown Prince, she looked very sweet and happy on their laps

At the very end they showed the pictures from the Photo session this christmas again. After they all had lined up Maud Angelica ran out the door and her mother had to run and get her, then Maud got angry she did not get to hold her sister and after some pushing she got to sit on the Queens lap holding and hugging her baby sister.
