2 pictures with CP Mette-Marit (twittered today by Mandy Moore).
They're at the PSI Central Warehouse in Yangon, Myanmar (=Burma), boxing up packages of condoms. So she's indeed doing charity work this week and that's the reason why she doesn't attend the pre-wedding event in Sweden.

Well done to her for standing by her values and continuing to do charity work when the cameras are not filming and when the press is not around.

So Mette-Marit is still in Malaysia? or is now in Myanmar?

and pictures from today, June 7, her last day in Myanmar:
"Norwegian People's Aid is hosting Crown Princess this last day in Myanmar. One of the organizations they work with are Akhaya Women. The group meets regularly to discuss topics such as women's rights and sexuality. Crown Princess participated in the call and responded to questions about equality in Norway and asked the women questions about their situation."

"Akhaya Women are behind the first woman to campaign in Myanmar. Young girls often experience sexual harassment, especially on buses in tight spaces. The campaign Whistle for help were created to do something about this. To blow a whistle has been an effective tool and the campaign has received considerable media attention. Now everyone knows that when they hear a whistle, it's a girl who needs help."
CP Mette-Marit made one herself.

"The whistles are worn as jewelry. They are made by women who might not get into employment otherwise, but who are now employed by Ahkaya. Crown Princess did try in the workshop."

Fantastic what she makes! And you can see that she enjoys to help on people who need it, it is not a new "musttomake" termin in her calender! I can imagine, that she planned this trip...
She dresses very loose, she is very close to all these poor children, women, people.

Today, CP Mette-Marit was at the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD, directorate under the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), "to talk about youth and development, women's rights and forestry initiatives", June 18, 2013.
Picture

Proves again that not every meeting is listed in the official engagement calendar.

She looks very happy and satisfied here. Joy to behold !
