Nice photos.
Why HM wear similar hats I meant they shape?

Queen & Crown prince couple attended the 5th Royal concert at the Stadstheater in Zoetermeer.
The concert is to show the musical solidarity between Holland and the Dutch Antills.

Ah, you found some pictures! I have been looking on PPE and ANP and did not find anything. Thanks!
Nice website btw!
I was cycling in the paleisstraat yesterday and 8 policemen on motors almost drove over me, so I gathered that the queen must be in the palace (and she WAS).

I'm not usually on this part of the forums, but as an ardent fan of Andre Rieu and his Orchestra I thought you might like to see the concert he performed for HM Queen Beatrix this week:

André to play for Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands

There is a 30 minute video posted at that link

Enjoy!!
:whistling: (Whistling along to the music....):flowers:

How much time will they take to get to Copenhagen? :)

I bet they love to travel by train again for such a distance,
they always used to go to Lech by train...way back.

Luckily the Royal train was all spic and span it just had to be fetched from the exhibition in Utrecht
HM had opened on wednesday.Little did we know how soon the RF would be in need of it.

They most likely have to travel back by train too as europes airspace might be closed for the next 48 hours due to the ash clouds
:flowers:

15 hours is quite a journey but I think its worth it. They royals did look a bit odd sticking their heads out of the train window :loll:
Thanks for letting us know they will be making it :flowers:

I didnt see any pic of them at QM bday can anyone point me the way or post plz

The Royal Family attended a memorial event for the victims of last
year's Queen's Day, Apeldoorn, April 29, 2010.
Queen Beatrix unveiled a monument which is a sculpture of a box
full of balloons symbolizing vulnerability, festivities and mourning.

A very emotional ceremony..
