More pics from Pure People

La reine Beatrix, toute pimpante, et son grand fiston, tout sourire, méritent vraiment une médaille !

I'm not usually on this part of the forums, but as an ardent fan of Andre Rieu and his Orchestra I thought you might like to see the concert he performed for HM Queen Beatrix this week:

André to play for Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands

There is a 30 minute video posted at that link

Enjoy!!
(Whistling along to the music....)

I bet they love to travel by train again for such a distance,
they always used to go to Lech by train...way back.

Luckily the Royal train was all spic and span it just had to be fetched from the exhibition in Utrecht
HM had opened on wednesday.Little did we know how soon the RF would be in need of it.

They most likely have to travel back by train too as europes airspace might be closed for the next 48 hours due to the ash clouds

The Royal Family attended a memorial event for the victims of last
year's Queen's Day, Apeldoorn, April 29, 2010.
Queen Beatrix unveiled a monument which is a sculpture of a box
full of balloons symbolizing vulnerability, festivities and mourning.

A very emotional ceremony..
