I really admire those pregnant royal women like CP Maxima who still work hard as a royal even when they are pregnant. They also never fail to look good.

Pregnant Princess Maxima unwell, but okay
27 May 2005
AMSTERDAM — Pregnant with her second child, Princess Maxima is said to be feeling unwell and cancelled a planned visit to Rotterdam on Thursday.
The princess was due to attend the opening of the second Internationale Architectuur Biënnale at the Nieuwe Luxortheater.
Princess Maxima was not feeling well enough to attend the event.
However, the Government Information Service (RVD) said neither the princess nor her unborn child are suffering serious complications
Princess Maxima was also forced to cancel several working appointments when she was pregnant with Princess Amalia in 2003.
The Argentinean-born princess was also advised by medical staff at that time to take an extended period of rest. Crown Prince Willem-Alexander fulfilled his wife's functions on Thursday, officially opening the art exhibition.
Princess Maxima still has a busy time in front of her, including a visit to Paris on 20 and 21 June for a United Nations meeting over micro credit schemes.
Maxima is due to give birth in July.

I don´t think that she can travel to Paris on June 20th. I believe that her child will be born in JUne and that it won´t take long till we can celebrate the birth of their second child.

I wish her luck and she should be more careful not to stress herself because her expected month of delivery is already near.

i think it's wonderful how maxima dealed with the pregnancy. not only she attended to nearly all (cancelling 4 or 5 at the most) her royal duties in the netherlands but also she went to many places abroad as kenia and uganda, poland and japan...
i think it's now sensible that she has a rest.

She does look uncomfortable (which is to be expected), but she just doesn't look well either. I'm sure shes exhausted at this point, and thats a lot of what I'm seeing...at any rate, I wish her a speedy and healthy (rest of her) pregnancy!

Princess Máxima is the new patron of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Prince Claus was first the patron of the orchestra, 20 years long.

What does one do as patron of the orchestra or of another organization? Do they attend events or have any official duties?

From BRMB:
-------------------
* Communiqué van de Rijksvoorlichtingsdienst
On behalf of His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange and Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima, the Dutch Royal Information Service announces:
Recent publications in the weekly Privé have forced the Prince and Princess to undertake juridical steps against the publisher and the editor-in-chief of this mag.According to this weeks' edition of the mag the Princely Couple was employing 3 nannies
- 1 of them was to have been sacked recently, after having been hit by the princess.
The truth is that, since November 2004, the Couple has 1 nanny and it is not right that she has been hit.
This unjust publication is a breach of privacy on behalf of the Princely Couple, as well as it affects the Princess' good reputation
As soon as is known which measures will be taken, it will be made known by the Royal Information Service.

I don't think Maxima gives interviews too often. Did she say anything interesting?
