thanks for the pictures! Laurenten looks good, hard to say that she is already 39 years old. And nice to see that she is so dedicated to her cause (illiteracy), even before her marriage!

Sept. 8 2005 Laurentien carried out a series of engagements on World Literacy Day, including handing out literacy prizes at The Hague, and attending a symposium on the role of government, business and educators in the fight against illiteracy.
A speech that she gave today has been posted (in Dutch) on the official site:

This outfit is not so bad but I think she just needs to simplify a little. It's too "busu" with the necklace and the wide sleeves and the ruffles on the bottom.
there's potential here though.

I agree -- she could have left off the necklace and the belt and had simpler shoes.
The dress is nice and seems to need no help really...

I think that I should have stated earlier, as a person, Laurentien has grown on me; not her dress sense.
I love the "Orange" Family, but I question their sense of style often.

I totally agree! The meaning of the words 'Less is more' does not always seem to bother her when it comes to deciding what to wear. But I still think she's great (not considering her taste of style, of course), especially when I think about what she does for a good cause, like illiteracy.
But frankly, I'm still in shock about those two things she wore at the wedding of PC & Anita! Horrifying...

She looks really lovely in these pictures. The toned down accessories make her look more elegant, imo.
I think less is definitely more.

Doesn't Laurentien look wonderful? Is it suede? The Princess seems to like wearing leather and suede and I think she looks fabulous!

She does look very lovely. Laurentien is very much a hit or miss kind of girl when it comes to fashion. She either gets it dead right, or dead wrong. There is no middle ground. She must have two stylists - that's all I can figure! :p

Yes! That's definately true! And she really has to get rid of the bad one! And quick! I really love this beige outfit, by the way! :) And the hair, I always love her hair...

It was also stated by a gossip magazine I saw in a grocery store last week, over here in Holland. Don't remember which one it was... all rumours I guess.

I think it was 'story'. Rumours maybe, but it would be nice if they got another child, they seem such wonderful parents! What is Laurentiens age now? 39?

You should not forget that she already had two children and that she is not the youngest woman.so it is just natural that she has a little belly.Yes she´s 39 becoming 40 next May.

It was the Story indeed. This one was originally posted by Princess Maxima in the 'Who is rumoured to be pregnant' thread.
It says: Does Laurentien's belly tell her story?
Think Liv's right though when she says that a belly is very normal for a woman in her late thirties who already had two children.

How awful it must be if she really isn't pregnant! She's a very thin woman and just because she might have a couple spare pounds in a particular area doesn't mean she's pregnant. I feel so sorry if she's not because it must be difficult to have all this speculation about it for such a superficial reason.

Sorry to be completely off topic but what is the story at the top of the magazine about Camilla and Charles becoming grandparents?
Also back on topic unfortunately for Laurentien and Sophie Wessex if you are not thin with a flat stomach (not easy for women who have had children and aren't at the gym 4 hours a day with personal trainers) there will always be speculation because everyone loves a new baby.
