Diana

I considered to vote for a Grimaldi Princess but in the end, I decided for Diana. Very difficult decision . . .

But I want to say that I really like all of the Monaco Ladies and I'm a bit disappointed that scarcely anybody vote for them.

I have several favourites, Queen Beatrix, Queen Sofia and Princess Margriet for example. Not included in the poll but also one of my favourites is the ever elegant and discrete Princess Alexandra of Kent.

As I had one vote only I went for my own head of state, so Queen Beatrix it is...

I have so many favorites but ultimatly decided to vote for Queen Elizabeth. To me, she personifies what it is to be a queen. I think that she is an extremley strong and intelligent women.

If I had another vote I probably would have voted for Mathilde. I think she is a hard worker and since her marriage in 1999 has taken very well to the job of Crown Princess.

hi Vanessa,
How articulately expressed.
I am of the identical sentiments about Queen Sofia. You might have to have identical virtues and attributes to choose her.But she has been outstanding an all regard and manner.Queen Sofia is one who never disappoints. And in this coarse and unforgiving world that must have a level of difficulty which she has an expertise in knowing how to trascend.

WOW, Jaya! You said that maybe I am like Queen Sofía...What an undeserved honour! (I'm blushing reading your message! ) But yes. She is my model of woman , and I try to be a little like her (whithout succeding in any way, of course! ). I have a great admiration for her and all her accomplishments as a woman and as a Queen. Spain couldn't be Spain whithout her.

Vanesa.

I voted for Crown Princess Masako of Japan. She was a successful career woman wtih an excellent educational background. Despite of her personal problems, she always try to give her best to her family, country, and its people. She may have such a hard times but she never give up. That's why I truly adore her.

This was a tough one there are so many I admire

Masako-grace under pressure

CP Victoria for being so down -to -earth and levelheaded ready for the throne when the moment comes

Sofia-because she is a most loving and gracious woman

I could go on and on but in the end I voted for Caroline of Monaco for several reasons. She was 'my' first princess I have followed her as long as I can remember her.As a young girl and later a teen I wanted to be her look like her tried to copy everything about her-not too sucessfully I might add!I admire how she stepped in for her mother in her offical role as the First Lady of Monaco after Princess Grace died,I loved her devotion to her dad,I love her now as the the loving mom . In the end she was just the logical choice.
I also admire the current Crown Princesses for many reasons I think it will be interesting to watch them as time goes on.

I'm not sure that this poll is very well formulated because the result is that everybody - me the first - want to answer in voting for his/her favourite royal or princely image and doing that the result aren't very far away from the thread number 1 about the most favorite woman in the monarchy.

I had voted for the Queen Sofia of Spain who is - for me - the summum of the royal Lady by her behaviour, her way of life, her "aura". In the same time I should to vote for the Princess of Asturias who i, in an other style, a Queen to be absolutly excepcional but in the meaning of the question, is she a royal lady? Very ambiguous
