Royal or Noble Best Friend

If you pick a royal or noble to be your best friend who would it be and why?

If it were a royal I would have to choose Prince Philip. He's had such an interesting life, from his deaf mother and feckless father to his time in the navy and marriage to the Queen. Hardly any of this would come up as I hear he is so "just get on with it" and I truely admire that.

If a noble I wouldn't mind one of the Ogilvys (a Lord Airlie or thereabouts). This family has been devoted to the British crown for so long and has been (to my knowledge) free of the drama and woe attatched to the Spencers. They have been good, faithful retainers for years and the experience across the generations is invaluable for understanding how to serve the crown.

I will choose Prince Hamzah of Jordan, because he is not only handsome and good-looking, he is also humble and friendly. He has many friends, Muslims or Non-Muslims, and fellow-Arab or Foreign.

I also choose Prince Sebastien of Luxembourg, because he was born the same year as mine! It is a blessing to have a Royal friend who share the same year of your birth.

If Prince Diana was still alive, I would want to be her Best Friend. Both of us were very young children when our parents divorced and both of us felt lonely when we were growing up. I don't know how much we would actually have in common but we are within the same age group (I'm a year younger than she is). When she was alive, I would have loved to have lunch with her.

There are a few others that I wouldn't mind being friends with, but I'm much so older than them that there wouldn't be much in common, unless of course I was in their age group.

i LOVE ALL the crown princes, heirs and their children. i dont know why, but i always look to them with more joy and excitement, maybe because of the press they have and spotlight, that they were the first ones that i saw and push me in to this royal life watcher.

about a single person, i have great care and a special attention to Infanta Leonor! she is a sweetheart and so pretty. so far she is my absolute favourite number 1#, after her, all Crown princes, heirs and children come.

My favorite royal would definitely be the Queen Mum, Elizabeth. No scandal ever tainted her reign(at least none we were made aware of). She was thrust into a role she didn't want when her brother-in-law abdicated, and after her beloved 'Bertie' died, even in her own grief, she was a great source of comfort to the new Queen Elizabeth. One other thing, she lived to be almost 102(101 years, 7 months). That is a remarkable feat in itself.
