Birth and marriages are for certain. In 2012 there will be royal births and royal marriages. That's a given. This is a prediction which will come to pass. Some of these individuals we already know about (Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel will become parents in March of 2012) and others will be forthcoming or be a surprise.

One prediction that I have is that at least one royal will win a gold, silver or bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics. I'm guessing it will be horse events although I'm seeing swimming or track and field as a possibility. Why I don't know.

Efforts of some to have the Russian monarchy restored will become stronger in Russia but disputes over whose the rightful heir will continue and become more intense as the year and years go by.

Denmark:

-No other interesting news but we will all be thrilled to finally get some photos of all four M&F kids together

U.K.:
-Pregnancy for C&W announced Sept 2012 or later
-Baby boy for Autumn and Peter
-A good showing but no medals for Zara
-Another short tour in Afghanistan for Harry. Abundant rumors of reconciliation with Chelsy but will never come to fruition (they remain friends); he gets another girlfriend by year's end
-Bea and Eug continue on as usual

Sweden:
-Baby boy for Victoria and Daniel. The christening will be as beautiful as their wedding.
-No engagements for Victoria's siblings

Monaco:
-Pregnancy for C&A announced in the second half of the year
-C&E divorce
