The picture of Margarethe is beautiful. She is so regal and those pearls she's wearing are unreal. That tiara is one of my favs! Thanks for the pic!

The photo of Queen Margarethe is stunning - very regal, as she is. But a picture that would get my vote would demonstrate the most role the royals today can have: one of uniting the people into one. No elected politician can ever have that, and in that sense, I feel a real monarch can be a true leader of his/her country. Just look at Margarethe - or QEII.

http://img234.imageshack.us/my.php?i...lede1884oq.jpg (post by PDAS1201) I am sure many people knows that royal life is not completely different with others/non royal life, they can be happy, sad, angry, argue etc, but it have been very rare to seen in public. I (of course) don't know what had happened there exactly but from the picture above I have an impression that Alexandra and Joachim had little argued about something and Mary watched them in stun, Frederick just smile and react relax: "no worry dear, it is nothing serious, little argue just hapenned like in many other couple's life doesn't it". Please don't take it seriously

I like this coronation picture of Charles, Emperor of Austria as King Charles IV of Hungary with his lovely wife Zita. They were a very dedicated couple.

Yes they were, though Karl was a very delicate man and died at a young age. Zita spent all those decades in widowhood, after bringing up her children virtually alone.

11 years of marriage and 67 years as a widow. Sad end to a couple who were said to be quite in love at the time of her death she had 6 living kids ( adelheid died eighteen years before and Charlotte a few months after her mother), 36 grandchildren, and over 30 great grandchildren.
