Today foreign royal names are kept in the form they have in their native language.

Before the beginning of the 20th century the names of foreign-born royal princesses, and the first Bernadotte queen, married into the SRF got their names changed into the Swedish form of their name, for example Désirée Clary became Desideria, Joséphine of Leuchtenberg became Josefina, Luise von Oranien-Nassau became Lovisa, Margaret of Connaught became Margareta in 1905. The next royal princess to marry into the SRF was Maria Pavlovna of Russia in 1908, and her name was kept as it was, and so was the name of Lady Louise Mountbatten, she became Crown Princess Louise of Sweden in 1923.

No, both Mette and Marit comes from the name Margareta/Marguerite, Mette is a Danish form and Marit is a Nordic/Scandinavian form of Margareta.

Alexander is Iskender in Turkish. Since Ottoman Empire abolished in 1922, we don't have royalty. Iskender wasn't used in Ottoman Imperial Family.

Abraham (Ibrahim in Turkish) is a name of one Ottoman sultan. And also there is Solomon (Suleyman in Turkish). However the names are used in English as Ibrahim and Suleiman.
