Princess Haya & Crown Prince of Dubai (oh, well..now the ruler of dubai)



original caption from DPA : Dubai s Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum and his wife Princess Haya Bint Al-Hussein of Jordan attend the Arabian Night desert party , two days before the Dubai World Cup horse race , in Dubai on March 24 , 2005.
It has been now a year 12 that Sheikh Mohammed married Princess Haya. They appeared at this party holding hands , which is quite rare among Arab leaders.
A year after her marriage , Princess Haya looks quite happy and in love.

I'm awfully sorry, mtbcm, but I'm afraid that man in the picture is not King Albert (so obviously the woman is not Queen Paola). Look at the colour of their bands, at the man's hair and at his glasses.
All the same, I'd like to know what others think.

Martin, it is Queen Paola & King Albert. the photo was taken during Haakon & Mette-Marit's Wedding on 2001.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, Queen Paola IS younger than her husband. What surprised me was to see King Albert look so young.
I once had the chance to meet the Queen personally and I tell you she's wow!!! (with all respect) And a very nice person to talk with.

Love in the royal couples

Very good thread. I love this loving looks and gestures in the royals, they are humans and that demostrate it. My favourite photos are Felipe and Letizia´s, are very sweet, they only see each other for understand. The best present for them is Leonor a very cute girl.
