Camilla requested that all the flowers from her wedding day that were used to decorate St. George's be donated to a hospital afterwards.

I know that the royals get these bouquets daily, but I'd be tempted to take some home with me at the end of the day and have them around my house!

Alexandria...you and I both!!!

Here's another one of Mary

Yes, I totally agree with you, Zubiaur.
Mathilde's bouquet is as beautiful as she is!

Could anyone tell me when doe's it start this tradition to give the royal ladies bouquets? And who pay for them?

:previous: I don't know who pays for the bouquets, or how the florist is selected, but here is a short article about a floral designer and his team designing a bouquet for Queen Margrethe of Denmark:
Han binder buket til Dronningen | Alt om herning - din genvej til de lokale og globale nyheder (in Danish)

The title is: "He Binds the Bouquet for the Queen". This florist is also in charge of the floral decorations that will be in the in the tent during an inauguration ceremony for a new hospital wing in Denmark. He is keeping his designs a secret, but states that it is very difficult and challenging to try to figure out what the Queen would like. It is a huge honor to design these bouquets and decorations. I'm still not sure how the florists are selected, though.

Thanks sgl.

Maybe is it like this: the royal gardner have a list of all florists in the country. Than he google them. Or if not google than he or his people go to the florist shop to see. If he like their offerts he choose the florist.
:D

According to the Jubilee episode of Are You Being Served? "By Appointment":
"Isn't that charming? Look, a little girl is giving her a bouquet.
And now the Queen has given it to Philip.
Oh, Philip's handed it to the mayor.
The mayor is giving it to an alderman.
He's giving it to a policeman on an 'orse.
Oh yea, and the policeman is giving it to the horse.
I think the horse is enjoying it more than anybody!"
