For the most romantic I would have to say that the engimatic Duke of Edinburgh takes the cake. Prince Philip, not known for his romantic streak, sents a bonquet of yellow roses to the Queen on their wedding day. Every year the bonquet gets slightly bigger. The Queen is so used to her husband's gift that she makes certain that she gets up earlier to make space for the flowers in her office. She than sits and waits for her present to arrive. I pity the florist if it is late.

Yes, I like them too. And they look nice toghether, even if they try to hid their feelings.

Yellow roses? I know that The Queen likes yellow flowers, but I think that yellow roses haven't a positive meaning when they concern love.

For me the most romantic Couple ever is Nicholas II of Russia and Alexandra of Hessen Darmstadt. They married for Love and stayed passionately in Love until their Death 24 years after the Marriage. :o

Aww, that's really cute - I smiled when I read that. I don't think it would seem nearly so sweet from Haakon of Frederik or one of the more obviously romantic men because it would be much more expected, but from an old, seemingly-insensitive, buttoned-up English gentleman like Philip...it's just darling!

Definitly Stefano´s death was so sad and unbelieve. 3 little cute kids, a young and loving family...but all end so soon

I think the most romantic thing I heard that Prince Edward did was whisk Sophie to Rome for their wedding anniversary. Apparently Sophie loves Rome.

When Edward announced he was marrying Sophie, most journalists said it was to cover up his way of life. I strongly disagree and think even though they have been together now in total for 12 years since 1993, they are the most stable of the Queen's children's marriages nad you can tell very much in love.

I also am in awe by the way Frederick of Denmark is so open with his affection towards Mary, and you can tell he is IN LOVE...which is how a marriage should be.

I thought it was fantastic they way he kissed her in church like that when they were getting ready to walk down the aisle after getting married.

I think Frederik and Mary are the most romantic couple. The way the smiled at each other at their wedding and the way Frederik looks at Mary is beautiful!

Frederik has been really open with the way he feels about Mary but I think Mary really showed her love and support to Frederik when she reached over to Frederik and held his hand during the service for the Tsunami victim. Ahh...true love!
