I love this dress, the pattern is great. I also love the classic coat and brooch. Over all a great look for Camilla.

Both the dress and coat have been around for close to a decade now!

Most ot the time, Camilla's fashion choices surprise me in a good way because, even though they are not my cup of tea, they suit her very much.

I am not a fan of the frilly collar and cuffs. But she looks nice overall.

I love her brooch

Camilla knows her body and what suits her. At her age, she doesn't see the need to keep up with fashions and we see outfits from years ago. And that is fine. Anne dies the same. I think Camilla has more classic pieces thohgh. Sometimes Anne looks quite dated.

This is one of my favourite suits and the colour really looks gorgeous on Camilla. Needless to say, she is one of the few that could carry off such a wonderful hat. I love the whole ensemble.

Camilla later attended the Commonwealth Secretary's reception wearing the same suit but without the hat. In fact she managed to change the entire "look" if not "mood" of the ensemble by the simple expedient of removing her pearl and diamond choker, leaving the buttons of the jacket undone and adding her two beautifully enameled pansy brooches.

Strangely enough, I thought she looked more formal and yet more relaxed. In fact, everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.
