I thought both of today's outfits were great. The Beulah was a really good choice for the mosque. I love the Alice Temperely dress and the pearl hair pins.

now we are talking! it seems the tour has gotten better. after some ill choices (what was that gala dress!?), the temperley dress is just divine. i also like the updo of the hair.

Well done! Fantastic dress. Very flattering and quite lovely with the lace detail. The color is wonderful but the shoes. I know she loves those shoes and they are a great go to but something different would have enhanced the look. Great hairstyles, love the updo. Overall, fantastic.

September 14, 2012 - Kate in a dress by Beulah London.

I like Kates look today. The color is lovely, the dress fits well and I like the sheer sleeves. Her hair-do is quite nice as well as her make up, she looks quite fresh.

While visiting the mosque, Kate wore a matching head scarf

I think she looks lovely. I like the dress. The dress is very elegant and ladylike. The color is beautiful, and I think she pulls off the sleeves just right.

For a tea party in Malaysia, The Duchess of Cambridge wore a pastel blue dress with white lace overlay by Alice Temperley which is very pretty indeed - fresh but still formal, elegant without being too conservative.

The only minuses for me are the nude shoes (such an old hat - white or light blue and without that half-platform sole, please) and the fact that the lace doesn’t really look to feel comfortable on the wearer’s skin.
But overall, along with the fact that the hairdresser has finally woken up from her regular routine, IMHO perhaps the best look from the tour so far.

Absolutely gorgeous dress! This has got to be one of her best looks! The color is beautiful, and the design on the overlay is stunning. Her hair is also beautiful. She looks wonderful.

The dress she wore at the mosque is terrible, looks like a curtain IMO. The other dress is lovely!
Hairstyle is great both times, really suits her.

the Mosque dress is so well chosen for that occasion and i dont see why all the hate with it, its not something to die for, but its pretty and graceful. she was so pretty with the scarf too!! the shoes blended well too.

another lovely choice for the Tea Party, the dress is so beautiful and princessy in my opinion, one of the best in this tour. and a big plus for the up-do, so classy^^ now the only thing that i didnt like was the shoes, they are pretty but they are off for this dress, something more 'delicate' and 'light' would've been the perfect choice.

I have to agree, this was a perfect look for the Mosque.

Both dresses today were lovely; best day of the tour style wise IMO.

I don't understand the criticism of the nude shoes. They don't have a huge platform, and the platform is the same color.

I think the Duchess looks stunning in the tea party dress. Elegant and regal look for the occasion. Beautiful color and her hair-do was the crowning touch. Now if only she had chosen a different pair of shoes! This pair has seen better days... Much too heavy looking for the delicate, feminine dress.

Tea party dress is lovely on Catherine and I love the color. I agree best look of the tour so far. :flowers:

I loved the dress for the tea party. Did it remind any one else of the Queen's choice in blue for her Jubilee visit to Northern Ireland?

Not everyone loved that outfit of the queen's - but I did! All the cut-work on that lace and its placement was beautiful. The shamrocks echoed the national theme as did Catherine's floral pattern on today's dress.

I though both were so striking.

Tea dress is pretty enough but I am not crazy about it ... liked the pearly hair decorations though.

I really love the dress that Catherine wore to the tea party. It's so pretty and delicate and suits her very well. The hair style is perfect for the dress as well. The one that she chose for the visit to the mosque is nice too, but not the one I would want to see her wear again.

Is there a hairdresser with her or did she use one there?
I remember she said she would not use a dresser in Canada, does she have one now?

She has a hair stylist with her, but not a dresser.

September 11, 2012 - Kate is wearing a kimono-style pink dress with an orchid pattern by Jenny Packham.

Im not crazy about the dress but the cut seems to be quite nice. The print and color works for the visit IMO.

1st dress- Love it! Stunning elegance!! Divine.
2nd dress- Love this dress for elegance, and beautiful colors. Reminds me of an outfit Diana would wear/ wore. Also love the up-do with pearl pins.

Queen- Yes, so that's the recent Royal outfit that this reminded me of.... knew I was not crazy.....;). Loved that one as well.

Catherine looks beautiful and her dress perfectly matched the event, in this case a visit to a Mosque. The "look" was sort of softly romantic, the dress soft and feminine and the hair elegant and restrained. In fact the only jarring note was the ubiquitous "clogs". They were far too heavy for the soft floatlyness of the dress. She does, however, look rather gorgeous with her headscarf!

Now That is a dowdy dress! But for the occasion (visiting a mosque) entirely appropriate, so I'm not complaining.
Whilst the dress was modest I did not think it dowdy. It had a restrained elegance that worked perfectly with her up do. Shame about the shoes but!

Once again she has hit the note perfectly with this beautifully feminine dress. Shame about the clogs and shame she ruined a perfectly good up do (see previous) with a pile of pearl pins that were too much and too many! Visible metal bits were definitely a turn-off.

Overall, today I think Catherine looked the best she has on the tour to date. And while I know the "hair" issue bothers a lot of people, the updo's she sported today could not have come at a better time. While elegant, they made her look a little more "adult" and restrained.

I just saw the tea party dress, it's great! Definitely the best of the tour,'replacing the purple print dress.

i agree that the temperley dress is the best of the tour so far.

i like her look for the jungle, quite pratical but fashionably, love her hair on the woods for just one side.

still no pics from lunch, cant wait to see them^^

I love these pants she is wearing today! Her smile lights up the whole forest.

Kate wears casual/ outdoor gear like no other royal IMO. I love the blouse she is wearing for the rainforest walk. She looks so comfortable in her clothes - Mind you her figure helps a little :)

She's dressed for the event perfectly. That shade of her top is lovely on her. I like her hair pulled to the side, it looks good on her.

I love the blouse! The color is great on her. I thought she looked nice for the event.

I really liked Catherine's look for the rainforest. It was practical, comfortable and appropriate. The color of the blouse was very nice and the hair in the pony-tail, off to the side suited her.

Her hair was down and loose in the pictures I saw from the rain forest. Just one showed it to the side, looks like she pushed it that way from hiking.
I think her hairdresser should have arranged her hair in some kind of pony tail instead of loose, it looked hot and uncomfortable.

I don't know why she doesn't wear a French braid or something; much cooler.

The only reason I can think (beside vanity) that she does not do a pull back/pony more often is that it will tend to break the hair on the front sides.

But a loose french braid is a great solution!:)
