Sarah at the premiere of "The Young Victoria" which closed the Toronto Film Festival.

Not one of the nicest things i've seen Sarah in. It just doesn't flatter her. And doesn't go with her hair. :)

It's nice to see the Duchess in a lighter colour.

The one nice thing I can say about the dress is the colour: I'm rather fond of purple. The clutch is fine as well.
The dress itself looked very cheap, although I'd imagine it had cost quite a lot. And the tacky jewellery Sarah chose to accessorize it did nothing to improve the overall look.

On a brighter note, the movie received positive reviews from Canadian critics.

She doesn't work in an oracle,so she'd better leave those Gracian dresses for another heroine ;) With a greater body actually :whistling:

Well, its like christmas and new year at the same day when Sarah Ferguson has a perfect outfit. She's just a fashion desaster most of the time and always was IMO. No offence, I have and always had sympathy for her although. ;)

There is nothing wrong with Sarah's body.

It appears that she has the body size of an average American and British woman. I believe its what.... a size 12 or 14?

And from what I recall from my history classes, Grecian women weren't necessarily thin as well.

I love the purple dress and I think it looks lovely on her. I think she didn't have to add the necklace. Its distracting and does nothing for the dress.

And could someone tell me how you can judge a dress to be cheap by a picture? I usually can only tell when I am touching the actual item.

The waistline rather mimics Eugenie's, don't you think? But the purple wasn't a good choice for her, I think it's too voluminous. She would have done better to wear something like Beatrice's, and show off her pretty legs, or something with a more defined waistline.

I think Sarah has a nice figure. There's nothing wrong with being a respectable healthy weight and being an American 12-14.

Ask Beatrix Fan. He's got a talent for that, recognizing certain fabrics, cuts, etc.

Sarah has a good body, and this dress shows it.
The colour is very modern nowadays, and it fits her perfectly.:previous:

Do you mean the colour suits her perfectly? If so I agree, it is a nice colour but my problem with the dress is that it doesn´t FIT her, the skirt is fine but the top looks cheap, a very bad cut. I don´t mind the tassle necklace but the top is a disaster.

Yes, Wisteria, you have guessed me right, the colour is light and fresh.:)

truth be told, I like the dress, just not on her. The color is great on her as is the flowing long skirt, but the top and the waistline of the dress do nothing to flatter her. It actually make her look frumpy IMO. Her posture needs to be more erect, with her shoulders back, so that the front of the dress lays properly. Had she had it taylored to her, it would have looked much better.
On another note: Eugenie's dress looks as if she has it on backwards.
And for once, Beatrice actually out shines both of them.

I really like the neckline of this gown. I don't know why she only has one glove on but I think she looks lovely.

Yes, I think this frock looks nice and I like the long gloves. For me, short gloves NEVER go with short, sheer, rolled up or no sleeves, irrespective of what the gloves are for. She used to wear those silly little gloves with short-sleeved outfits.

Jesus Christ!I have to think of something nice.Ok,here is it:Happy birthday,Sarah!

Way to show off those legs in that little black dress!

Sarah could have looked nice in the black dress, if she was 35. Which means, she totally failed. The green dress looks beautiful. I need a better pic, though.

You know she's keen to be as fit as a footballer in her fiftieth year!

You're not implying she'll start playing football, right? Cause, this is the only thing she hasn't tried yet :whistling:

Mary wore the purple dress better IMO than did the Duchess of York....

I think that it would have looked much better if she had worn a bra.
I love the colour.:flowers:

I think the Duchess looked very elegant in the dress but who could compete with Mary?
