Princess Victoria in a red layered dress and sister Princess Madeleine in a longer similar dress in white. Both dresses are V necks and strapless.

Maxima, Mathilde, Claire, Maria Teresa and Silvia and Victoria are all huge fans of Natan-creations, so they have many, many similar things, unfortunately. I think Natan isn't very flattering especialy for Maxima and Mathilde.

I So agree with you, jini!! They are both just a wee bit , shall I say, on the heavy side? to wear Natan creations. And they both wear them so short which also isn't flattering, imho.

I think the jackets of Queen Silvia and Queen Paola are very similar.

Paola: ANP Beeldbank

Silvia: ANP Beeldbank

Both by Natan = Edouard Vermeulen.
Silvia's wins out for me here, because the fabric used has a fine quality and structure - unusual for Natan, who seems to revel in using inferior fabrics.

Sivia is clearly the winner here. The fit and tailoring is far superior to Paola's jacket. The wrinkles , short sleeves, and especially the gaping pockets are not fine quality on a Queen.

I'm sorry magnik, but except for the colour I don't think these two ensembles even come close to looking alike.

Better luck with this one:

Victoria: One ; Two ; Three
(One & Two were the 8th June; the links in 3 are from Brazil earlier this year)

Sophie, Countess of Wessex

CP Victoria and Sophie of Wessex are indeed wearing the same dress by Armani.
Funny that it doesn't fit very well on either of the two; I also would expect someone like Armani to take better care for the pattern to align at the seams. Usually, his clothes are made with more attention to detail.

If it is by Giorgio Armani then yes there would be better fit, detailing etc but if it is Emporio then I would doubt it.

I much prefer the dress on Sophie, She seems to wear it better in some way.

I have to agree dazzling, but I can add that I think the reason it looks better on Sophie is that it simply suits her figure better IMO.

The dress is 'Armani Collezioni', the original price tag was $1360.

Armani Collezioni Print Dress with Bow Detail - Dresses - Nordstrom

I like it on Sophie better as well, not because it suits her figure better (it really does not fit right) but because of her coloring... IMHO the dress looks better on a blonde.
