Queen Sonja wore a very bright ensemble for the welcoming ceremony of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall on the first day of their official visit to Norway. The pink coat was teamed with a matching pink hat, black shoes and Chanel bag.
Interesting to note how the two ladies - Sonja and Camilla - chose such drastically different outfits.

Queen Sonja looks lovely.
Here is her outfit without the coat.

Beautiful suit!
Both the Queen and Camilla looked lovely in fuchsia and purple respectively.

The only thing I did not care for here was the hat!

That is how to do pink and purple!
Did you notice the last 2 times Camilla has worn purple, the Queen, (Norway, England) has worn pink!
Good thinking, ladies!
Edit: After seeing the 2nd pic ( I thought it was a pic I had already seen, I love Queen S. in the raspberry colored suit- no hat, yay! Gorgeous hair!!

I love the raspberry suit on Queen Sonja, especially the fabric and piping detail. And honestly, could her hair get ANY prettier???? love it!

Beautiful fuchsia day outfit on Sonja and I love the coordination with Camilla's outfit. I liked the piping and the flower, but just didn't care for the large heavy necklace that didn't look good with the neckline.

Queen Sonja looks beautiful. I absolutely love her dress and accessories, especially the diamond and emerald necklace.
All gowns worn by the royal ladies were really beautiful.

Her jewels look absolutely stunning against the color and I also love her soft draping neckline as well. The clutch is very lovely and her softer hairstyle is so flattering.

I had to laugh when I saw Sonja. Is that her Gaddafi remembrance outfit? Too comical for my taste.

Gorgeous. What I like the most is her beautiful hairdo. So soft and feminine, longer hair suits her much better than short hair, IMO. The dress is beautiful (wonderful, rich color) and I like her accessories.

Looks good. Thankfully she didnt pull out one of her "traditional" gowns that she has been wearing for the last 20 years.
