Very chic and stylish. Love her necklace with the red stones and the brooch is an interesting piece. The textured fabric of her jacket is lovely.

Queen Silvia has worn this dress a lot, so the fact that it makes yet another appearance here is a bit disappointing, but it still looks very elegant on her.
The color is actually a beautiful shade of lilac, the top in an overlay of ruched lace re-embroidered with lilac and turquoise sequins.
As she has the choice of so much jewelry, a different necklace than Princess Sibylla’s pearls, usually worn for daytime, would have added some nice extra sparkle - her amethysts, for example.

Silvia looks amazing! That gown is exquisite. Love the color and the details. Would have looked better without the fur coat but she still looks stunning.

Queen Silvia's gown worn at the Mentor gala is indeed a new dress – quite perfect, though I believe it will look even better when worn with full jewels, tiara and orders; here, she is wearing the 19th century pearls of Queen Josefina with the diamond clasp in the front.

This is an amazing dress! She looks great :flowers:

The occasion was actually the annual concert in the evening of the Parliament opening, not the opening itself.

This cocktail suit is a repeat, designed by Carolina Herrera and made of floral jacquard silk – here’s the side view in a large HQ version:

This is absolutely the best suit! . . . elegant, smart, femine! :swedenflag2:

Queen Silvia again in red and black at a visit to the Nelson Cultural Centre yesterday, October 4, 2012 - elegant as always:

The skirt is navy (ath the Nelson cultural center). The look is very New England classic. As classic as it can be. ... And the loafers ... must be comfy. Love the jacket, though, especially the fabric.

The purple suit has this naughty crocodile feeling about it.

I love the fabric of the white (and gray) dress is, but the design is boring and unflattering. The pearls with the clip go well with the colours, since gold jewellery would have been ugly with it, but a platinum big but delicate necklace or a small tiara would also go well. It is a very summery dress so it doesn't call for heavy jewellery.

I so agree with you, Boris. The before alterations it looked very sophisticated and elegant. Now with the little bow at the neck, it looks little girlish and not at all suited to the usual smartly dressed Queen Silvia. It should have been left as it was originally designed.

Love the color of the blue dress. Would have looked better without the bow to me.

Like the color and the cut and I actually prefer the bow to the earlier embellishment (which reminds me of a flag!) JMHO.;)

Love the blue dress! Love the pink with the blue. That pink topaz set is breathtaking!

Silvia wears beautiful dresses at the moent. Her stylist has somehow a drive now. All outfits at the Luxembourg wedding were great.

Another beautiful outfit on Queen Silvia :flowers:
She looks amazing great color and outfit, suit to her very well :rose:

I'm not impressed by the gown she wore last night, but today's outfit was so elegant. This deep purple shade was a great choice!

Perfect for the reception.
Ok for the church..I did not like very much the hat and I would rather the skirt to be a tiny bit less wide.
Anyway she always manages to look radiant and beautiful whatever she wears.

The gown Queen Silvia wore at the pre-wedding gala is her Jacques Zehnder Nobel dress from 2008.

Silvia’s new suit at the wedding has a beautiful shade of purple plus interesting neck detailing in the applications and the banded tailoring of the jacket – the bands run in a subtle star shape towards the front center.
Very nice jewels too, but I would have preferred a wide-brimmed hat.

Queen Silvia was perfect like always :flowers::flowers::flowers:
She is a true style icon and style queen :flowers:

Love the purple suit! Striking color!

Very elegant outfit, I love the top part on Queen Silvia!

At first I did not like the color combination but, now I like it! But, I really dislike the gold top. Don't like the design.

.

Queen Silvia at the Swedish Equestrian Federation centennial celebration at Stockholm City Hall yesterday evening, November 28, wearing a long sequin dress. The glittering look is great on her, I only dislike the animal print.
