As for using glorious to describe Victoria, I have No idea what I was thinking. I guess I just wanted to say something nice about her and it does sort of fit with her sparkly dress, don't you think? Now as to her day wear, I think I would describe it as 'Blah', or 'Bland'...

I actually think it is a great choice.
Mostly because we all know Queen Margrethe likes "different" outfits and they are after all in Copenhagen to celebrate her.
Maybe QS chose something she though QM would enjoy.

Lovely shade of pink in a similar lace overlay like Margrethe's. I like the elegant fishtail train. And she's wearing the lovely Connaught tiara with stunning diamond earrings and necklace.
