Two awful outfits in as many days!? What happened to the always nicely dress Queen Silvia?

The silver grey suit was nice though definitely not Silvia's best outfit. I found the jacket quite special.

My only complaint is the stockings. It's too much shinyness next to the already shiny grey skirt (if that makes sense). Regular nude stockings would have looked nicer.

I don´t like this outfit at all, it´s quite awful. And the hair piece doesn´t fit to the colours of her outfit.

How could I miss this one!!?? I agree with you LadyFinn, this outfit does nothing for Q Silvia. The colours are a mess, the headpiece just silly... I only like the brooch.

Last night, Queen Silvia wore a cocktail-length version of an old favorite two-piece silver dress.
An all-silver look, while the Estonian First Lady chose an outfit in gold which I'd call... let’s say: extraordinary.

On which planet...?
Seriously, IMHO dressing with chutzpah in an original way is one thing, but an outfit which is wrong for the occasion as well as the own body type, as seen on Estonia's First Lady here, is quite another.

Looks like I misunderstood you.
Well I was talking about Silvia...I thought she looked really nice. As for the first lady...I agree she could've dressed more for the occasion:wink:

Just looked at the First Lady's ensemble! Putting it nicely, what was the woman thinking?

IMHO a truly fabulous style for Queen Silvia tonight in Malmö, attending the Bicentennial Ball of the Swedish Ameranther Order:
An all black-and purple look, worn with the complete Napoleonic amethyst parure.
The sleeveless gown, embroidered with lace in black and lighter purple, was first worn in Brazil last year, now a bolero jacket similar to the one worn at the Nobel Prize was added.

Very nice, I like Queen Silvia in deep colors like this purple. The gown is looking great with amethyst set.
