It was a powerful symbolic gesture that summed up why Jordan's young queen has captured the admiration of her people and earned an enthusiastic following beyond the country's borders.

On the tenth anniversary of her husband King Abdullah II's accession to the throne, Queen Rania chose to wear the same outfit she attended his coronation in.

In doing so she evoked stirring memories of a historic day that is remembered with pride in the Middle Eastern nation. Ten years on Queen Rania dons coronation gown to mark anniversary of husband's reign - hellomagazine.com

Bag&Belt she wore the Chloe shoes.

I love this picture of Queen Rania and Jennifer Lopez! I am a fan of both!

I like the belt but for me isn´t necessary. And the sleeves better the originals.

I prefer the current sleeves. It´s a beautiful dress. I also like her hairdo. She looks very pretty :flowers:

I agree that the sleeves look far better than these from 10 years. And the belt is really pretty too, and if Rania put it with the dress it means she liked such a composition. Her hairdo looked also better than before - I just like it when she has her hair loose!:flowers::flowers:

The dress worn by Rania is not an Elie Saab gown, nor a thobe, it was a gift from moroccan royals when she bacame a queen.

The original version is much better, the altered sleeves had make it cheap, and the belt is ok for me.

well the dress is nearly a caftan,it's definitely not a thobe, but i always thought it's an Elie Saab,do you have more information Lalla Khadija?

Thanks Monic. Is beautiful dress.

Yes, Salma. Both dresses Rania wore were beautiful. I wish I had the same ones...:):)

In the altered dress (and with the other hairdo) she really looked much better (and even younger) than 10 years ago.

I like both versions of the dress. To me, the most beautiful part of the dress is the beaded detail on the chiffon overlay. I love the way it flows, and I love the color. It is absolutely beautiful.

this Dress is the most beautiful i ever seen

The red one is really stunning, the other ones too. But I also love the blue one because of their sophisticated ornaments and Oriental style - it (plus the make-up) undoubtedly made Rania look outstanding! :):)

The dress is lovely but I don´t understand why she don´t wear a thoub.

She wore similar dress during Independence Day celebrations in 2002, but with different sleeves.

I don't like the two-toned color of the dress, but the belt is gorgeous.

The only thing I don’t like about the dress is the colour, the wonderful detail on the waist and sleeves would’ve looked stunning if it had been in a darker jewel tone.

this is similar to the black and white Temperley dress she wore in Morocco and the caftans Queen Noor wears
about the little we can see...this dress seems to be beautiful ...sublime

I dislike the colour and the evening dress:nonono:

She looks great Thanks for pics.hope to see more.

I would love to know who designed the dress. And even though it is not a traditional thoub, it still looks very Arab.

The dress is lovely, the style is very arabic and wouldnt be suprised if it was done by an Arab designer. The work on the waist and sleeves is amazing and love the colors of it. The dress color itself isnt flattering on Rania's skintone at all, its a dull color but the work IMO looks nice on it but would also look nice on another two toned fabric. I thought the hair was abit too much for the dress, I wouldve prefered a simple up-do.
