I personally don't go for shiny fabrics, it seems abit cheap. BTW how does the more conservative population of Jordan take to Rania's wearing relatively revealing clothes?

her face looks different. it's the worst dress and petra won't post it not even for the clothes but really it's funny and not important to have aprivate visit just for the film premiere. they can watch in the cinema anywhere even in jordan unless they'll be star movies then.

I think the colour is ok but I suspect the lights have made it look a lot brighter than it is. The shoes are gorgeous but don't suit the dress.
Persoanlly I think this is a better photo
REPORTAGE PHOTOS : La sublime Rania de Jordanie, fan du beau James Bond !
You can see that the dress is coral coloured and not as garish as in the other shots.

Petra doesn't post photos of private trips.
As for her clothes there have been many Petra shots of her in evening dress, for example the recent Pavarotti concert was covered by Petra.

The color is very pretty, but I am not a fan of the shape of the bottom half of the dress. IMO it makes her look wide, and we all know that Queen Rania is anything but wide.

A rare miss for the Queen. Normally she is impeccably dressed, but this does nothing for her model-like figure and hair. I do wish she would change up her style just a bit and maybe get away from always wearing couture in the evening. Of course, even in these economic times, she can afford it. Please don't take this as bashing her, because I'm not and I think the work that she does is very impressive, but I wonder if you put her side by side with a model from Paris, a semi-educated "Joe the Plumber" wouldn't be able to tell you who she is. I think she needs to add something to her style that says "I'm a Queen" and I don't think it necessarily needs to be the latest trend from Paris, New York or Milan.
QEII is obviously always recognizable, but QR isn't. Of course, she is a modern Queen Consort and doesn't really have any contemporaries her age that we would compare her to.
As I said, rare miss, but the color looks great on her. Didn't Princess Marie of Denmark wear something very similar to this but only in purple/eggplant? I think she wore it to a dance to celebrate the Guard's anniversary.

I admire Queen Rania's Eveningwear & I love her this dress, too. Like carlota's said it's just not her best.We always see her very elegant, but this time it's not her best.

Ill fitting dress from Rania IMO, does not flatter her figure in any way though I give credit for color. Its bright & happy.

The only thing I'm surprised about this Bond premiere outfit is the pairing with black accesories/shoes. I really like the salmon color of the gown. While I liked the cocktail length of the dress, it would also look stunning as a floor-length gown.

It is a dress for a much younger woman and she looked a bit like mutton dressed as lamb in it.

I have mixed feelings about the dress. I think the colour is lovely but I believe the flash of the photog's lighting kit has altered the tone of the colour; I see that a lot in my work. Her (or her dresser's) choice of black shoes (very nice) and purse was "safe." I do not like the scalloping of the dress, it broadens Rania's beam. I would've accessorized the look with a necklace. Rania should also hire herself a good makeup artist (pick me!), her brows look uneven and she's got too much shine.
The younger woman (daughter?) is poorly turned out. Her jacket is too big and the colours of her ensemble wash out her own colours. Her whole look is boring, there's too much reliance on neutral colours (she also looks bored).

The younger woman in the picture is Princess Iman who is only 12 years old. I thought she looked older than her years with how she was dresses. Pretty ballerina pumps and a pretty dress with a shawl would have been better and more age appropriate I feel. I don't like to see shoes with heels on little girls.

Thank you for the clarification, and I agree with you. A 12-year-old girl (royal or not) can dress with the colourful, exuberance that older women often envy. Princess Iman's look in the Bond premier photos is much too old for her. Ballerina flats would've also worked, with a different outfit, and been both fashionable and charming. I think there's a pretty girl under those dowdy clothes.
