I love the whole look, that she is Italian by birth shows in her style.
 
I hope She will wear wonderful NEW items for the Ball and Wedding in Luxembourg?
 
Recycled evening Dress she wore for Prince Willem Alexander ’s wedding 10 years ago but still stunning.
 
Lovely- twinkly stars in the night sky!
 
For this sunny day she should have had a B plan for her Hat which was it fur and it was so hot in the Cathedral.
 
Queen Paola indeed recycled a very nice blue evening gown, which dated from Willem-Alexander's Wedding, but remember she choose this gown for Queen Margrethe of Denmark's State Visit to Belgium as well in 2002. So this was the 3rd appearance of it.

Do you refer to Queen Paola or just to her fashion? I can’t imagine a more stunningly beautiful creature than this extremely loveable woman :). Getting back on topic, the starry sky design of Paola’s gown is wonderfully executed i.m.o. http://www1.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Queen+Paola+Wedding+Prince+Guillaume+Luxembourg+gra5f0GoR91x.jpg. Its light sequins carry comet tails through that omnipresent star dust made of tulle which also prevents the underlying fabric from gleaming too much Newscom - Multimedia for Websites and Publishers (enter spnphotosfour117809). Needless to remark, sapphire accentuates blond hair.

Queen Paola in grey and orange at a meeting with the Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski and his wife today, November 13, 2012. The orange and the cut of the top are good highlights for the grey suit:

Is she had her jacket unbuttoned and did not stand with her arms behind her, she would look prettier, more feminine.

I like it very much that she seems to like corals. (At least that is what she wears I think)

I like it when and that Queen Paola likes to keep it simple. But sometimes I would like to get more the feeling I get by the dress she wore at reception for the Belgian Olympic andParalympics athletes on October 4, 2012 (post 301)

The queen looks fantastic in her "volcanic eruption" blouse -it absolutely mirrors her vivacious temperament. Nevertheless, I would have been delighted if she had worn a knee-length skirt.

She loves her grey ;) - here's one more proof of that from yesterday, November 21. Thankfully she has chosen coral/orange coloured highlights again, that makes it look good again.

HM looks great in bright colors--the coral/orange accents are lovely.

Maybe just a nice coincidence, but the King's bright tie coordinates nicely with the cuffs on the Queen's suit jacket.

:previous:I find it a nice jacket, but if my old mother would see this she would rebuke the seamstress. The bars of the pattern do not run neatly. And for a quality that you would expect of a jacket for a Queen that should, even if it is difficult to make.:whistling::ohmy:
 
I love Paola's sense of style. I especially love the photos of her from the 60's - no princess of today can match her. Do we have any threads on fashion of yesteryear?
