I think you are comparing apples with oranges. Q. Noor has learnt the hard way to recycle clothes and be generally low key in her dress etc., but I can well remember how she was about twenty some years ago when she had been queen about the same time as Q Rania has now. Very fancy couture clothes, foreign dressers and personal shoppers , French hairdressers flying into Jordan weekly . Go back and look at some of the images. I think this is a stage which all these ladies unfortunately go through, especially the ones who were not so elegant at the time of their marriage and being catapulted into the limelight.

Queen Noor is so beautiful. She is one of the great ladies I look up to. I just wish that Abdullah and Rania would treat her better esp. w/ all she has done and given up.

Speaking of, how is Rania doing? Is she maintaining a lower profile during her pregnancy? When is her baby due? As much as I don't understand some of what she does or if she really does not like my favorite, Noor, I hope and pray she has a healthy baby. I have a gut feeling it will be a girl.......and the world can always use more women!!!!

I would like to ask you a petition: I'm very interested in collecting pictures of Her Majesty Queen Noor wearin in a western style, specially full pictures of her, that means, that I can see from her head to her foot. For many reasons I can't spend many time on the net and it could be marvellous if you could post and gather here this kind of pictures.

Wonderful topic, Sol! I think it would be very interesting to see Her Majesty in western fashions as well. I will try to post some photos of her in western fashion later today.

Noor has been wearing a lot of traditional jordanian dresses for the past few years, especially at formal events, whether in the US, Canada, or Europe. I must say they look beautiful on her.
But I do think she wears very elegant western wear as well.
I hope you like these pictures :)
