The looks for both the embassy and shrine are beautiful. The colors are great on the queen and she looks chic

The welcome outfit I love the colors. I love the accessories, even like the headpiece. But the top doesn't fit right and I don't like the print.

The green dress is very elegant and I love the print

This last look the fit seems a bit odd but I like the overall look. Mathilde is amazing with accessories like Max is.

Hat: ugly

In total her choice of clothes for the entire Japan State Visit was beautiful. Highlight was the golden Gala Dinner dress.

Hat might have looked better with the arrival dress than the red dress. An incident, maybe?

I love both dresses, the color in the red is great

But the hat I am usually a huge fan of real hats but that one is just odd. It looks like a costume hat perched on her head.

I'm not sure about the necklace! My first thought is garland on a tree, but the fit of this dress is flattering on Mathilda.

Lovely dress but the necklace looks like she borrowed from Maxima's costumey pieces

I dont care much for the dress itself but her overall was nicely styled with that necklace.

I think the necklace made the outfit, which was otherwise a bit of a two piece brown sack. And the necklace is in my taste, so obviously, I like it. Not everyone's cup of tea, I do realize that.
Given that the appearance was design related, I think it a reasonable time to choose a piece of jewelry with a strong thematic design. It could also work at a visit to a bubble factory.
