She looks very nice, I like the outfit but her make up top heavy for me

I really don't like her hair swept back. I like it down and natural.

Also, the shoes are just unattractive.

It seems that HM has come up with her own version of the helmet hairdo. I prefer Beatrix'' version TBH.

The outfit is awful, really awful. A very tight & unforgiving dress of very heavy shiny silk and the coat over it is just plain ugly. The colors do nothing for her and the make-up seems even more excessive than usual. What a pity.

I prefer the dress this time around, perhaps it looks richer in colour and the coat is interesting. Maxima certainly seems to be going through a gold phase at the moment!

I wonder whether any royals will be wearing gold and plum together this season as they are currently my favourite colours!

the dress isn't bad but the jacket is i don't like it the hair isn't doing any favor to Maxima too

:previous: This is a great example of how diffrent a fabric can look in different lighting. Wow.

^^ Indeed, what a difference!

In overall, I like it. But she has better shoes that would look nice with this outfit, and the hair is doing her no favours.

Messy Maxima hairday again, not fan of the outfit looks a bit of this and a bit of that but it doesn't work.

:previous: The problem is that this seems to be a deliberate style that Marengo has identified as helmet hair . . . and she's right!

Máxima attended a second event yesterday (an award ceremony), still wearing that same Natan dress, but for the first time combined with the matching Natan coat, I've posted a pic of above (post 362).

And here's what Máxima wore at two engagements today, November 13:

Very shony, uggly I would say. And she definitely does not have the knees for such a skirt lenght.

The shiny ensemble is just plain awful. I'm sorry, but I simply don't like it.

That first outfit is horrible. Really just...hmm...ugly.

The second outfit is really disappointing. The silhouette of the jacket is super unflattering, and the textures of the two pieces clash-they don't complement, they clash.

The second outfit is aging, very aging. Still, the hair is up so that is a plus.

I don't think her second outfit is awful or terrible (but of course I respect the fact that we all have different opinions), though it's certainly not my favourite outfit of hers. The colour is nice, but that's about it.

I much prefer her second outfit however, even if I'm not so sure about her top. I love her skirt and that shade of red suits her a lot.

The second outfit is rather fine on Maxima in matter of colour, but it makes her look pregnant.

ooow not her best look.

On television it looked splendid. The frontal flash simply ruïned the look on the photo but the people in the Citizens' Hall of the Royal Palace in Amsterdam have seen an amazingly rich dressed Queen...

:flowers:

The second outfit saw a Queen with hat, gloves, broche, etc. Yes, maybe the colour this, the fit that, the texture so, but she simply dressed to a standard and for the rest it is all in the eye of the beholder. I applaud the Queen (and her escorte) for keeping up the standard.

Good heavens, there is only one Máxima... more I can not bear ;)

Knees are far from being the prettiest part of anybody's anatomy.. Why [oh why] not cover them with a longer skirt ?
The colour is lovely, and the necklace *distinctive*...

Great shade of purple and a nice look, though I would've preferred the skirt to be a bit longer as the length is weird IMO. Not a fan of the necklace but it goes alright.

Agreed. This skirt's proportion looks too young for her.

Great color, I like the cut of the skirt, pleats starting below the abdomen. Blouse is pretty, can't handle the necklace.

Too bright colour could be ridiculous on another woman, but not on Maxima, it seems the brightest colours suit her.
