Is this a blotch on the camera lens (I hope so) or is her dress really stained?

I would assume if it were indeed a 'blotch' on the camera lens, that there would be more spots or 'blotches' on her dress. Perhaps even spots on King Constantine ... It Does seem strange to see HM with so many stains on her dress, however.

She has stains on her dress? I didn't see that.

I like the outfit on her very much.

Take a look at Sereta's post #83, and you will see stains of food or whatever on HM dress, CP5. You can't miss them...

Udyusa, I may need glasses or my computer blanked it out, but I cannot see the stains. Well the Queen is up there in age so maybe she spilled something. Or her hand was shaking when she had the fork possibly.....

No way, CP5. The Queen did not spill something... rather Someone spilled something on her! HM hands do not shake. Take another look at the pics... The stains are on the Side of her dress, hardly a place where one would spill something on one's own.

Wouldn't that be just terrible if she was the type of Queen to spill something?? LoL. Yes if its on the side then someone most definitely spilled it on her. Udy, I still can't see the stains. I looked at the outfit as hard as I can and there's no hope for me seeing it. Bummer.

Wait! I think I see it. Is it directly her arm? Then it could be a sweat mark.

Go up to post #83 and in the quote box click on the word "dress", a link will pop out and you can clearly see the spill

Thanks Johnny. I went on another website and I see it now. That is a terrible spill! Someone really did spill it on her, but as always that didn't stop the Queen!

I do hope they get the stain out of the dress - must have been some party!

I am sure it was just a case of somebody accidently spilling something on HM. That incident, and the snapped strap of the handbag, would have, no doubt, been passed off by the unflappable HM in her stride

Something was spilt on her dress at the birthday dinner unfortunately, but she still looks wonderful.

If she didn't do it herself, hate to be the one that did!

Haha, so true - can you imagine how mortified they must've been after spilling something on the Queen of England.
A shame they didn't have a shawl or something to loan her to sort of help cover it up.

Must of been a wild party for all of that to happen to HM!
Now I'm conjuring up images of HM partying wild and crazy!

I loved the way she handled it: like nothing happened, as simple as that. Take notes, ladies!

Queen Elizabeth with her conduct of no hide stains on her dress, has proved once again that she is the most powerful Queen of Europe. For she is irrelevant the opinion of the press, does not care what they say ........ Other people would have hidden it to prevent that the press would see it, it would be so easy, but she no
. Criticism of the press does not alter the Queen of England, does not alter their behavior, she is above such criticism.

This is good advice for all future Europeans Queens, You stop worrying by say of press, you donīt change your behavior by criticism or you will become slaves of the criticism.
