Beatrice and Eugenie both look great today. They've been improving in their outfits a lot this year so far.

Very nice outfits from both Beatrice and Eugenie today. I hope that means that they have hit their stride in a fashion sense and possibly have developed relationships with designers whose style suits them better.

Eugenie viewed the display of her wedding dress in the new exhibition 'A Royal Wedding: HRH Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank' at Windsor Castle today, February 28:

This is a very elegant combination, Eugenie looks great. She's on a roll!

Beatrice skirt is to die for! If only I had $500.
That being said, is it me or have the sisters have been wearing far too much black lately? Can’t say i’m liking it.

I'm tired of black from Royals..and that includes other Royal families. Not sure what the deal is.

Leaving aside the preponderance of black which does appear to be endemic with a large number of this generation of royals, I do think that the two princesses have teamed their outfits well in recent appearances with some good accessories and a nice mixture of separates. I just know though, that having said this, there will be a real howler of an appearance any time soon.

Black is a classic color that never goes out of style. And popular on the runway the past few seasons as well. Long gone are the days where black was reserved for funerals or the evening look.

Match that with one of the hot print trends of 2018-19 winter season, Eugenie is playing the fashion trends right. Houndstooth and tartan are big ones this year.

I think she looked great. Cute coat, I love it. :flowers:

Yes, I agree. Black is always proper and correct, especially has a basic tone with complementing articles to enhance. Classic and quite upscale. Eugenie has really hit her style and looks wonderful lately. She has a brilliant shapely figure that is perfect for many of todays proper fashions. She just looks so divinely happy since her engagement and marriage that I enjoy just seeing photos of her now.

Beatrice chaired a New York session of the Global Thinkers Forum on March 6, wearing a black dress:

Today, March 8, she wore a blacl dress and a light jacket for the launch of the SIGI 2019 Global Report:

More black...meh.

Her sleeves are rolled up. Her jacket didn't fit her. That is a scruffy look for HM's granddaughter. I would think that if you are giving your presence to a charity as a royal personage, you should be well-tailored and your clothes should fit.

They are not rolled up, they are cuffs. And she isn't a working royal remember. :ermm:

She isn't there as a fashion dummy anyways. She was there giving a speech and participating in talks. Some how at these types of events about women empowerment, brains are more important then how a woman wears a coat.

I really like the outfit, looks great with a belt.

At first I wasn't sure about Beatrice's outfit though after seeing it for a second time I've decided that it looks good on her - especially the colour.

The color is lovely on her and the nipped-in waist looks great.

I would have liked sheer tights and more delicate heels, but there's a funky 70's vibe to her tights and shoes with that dress that is sort of fun.

It's a miss for me - and I think it's because of the belt and shoes. It looks mismatched to me.

The colour is beautiful - very regal

I want to like this, but I don't. From the belt up, it's great: love the colour and the richness of the fabric.

From the belt down, though. The skirt portion looks odd; the ruffle thingies; the dark tights. Nope.

This is one where it looks much better when not in motion.

I love the dress. The color is gorgeous on her, and the style flatters. The hankerchief like skirt gives a bit of added detail. The belt is much needed to nip in her waist and completes it IMO.

But she needs sheer pantyhose, and different shoes.

I like this look on Beatrice, especially the color. She looks good and she looks happy. Edo is quite the handsome escort too. ?

Love the color, material and waist up design/style. The skirt, black tights and shoes aren't a great look to me. Seeing how some of the other ladies were dressed..she almost appears to be underdressed.

Beatrice's dress looks much too casual for the event.
All of the other women are in formal evening wear.

Some ladies wore dresses that were cocktail dresses not formal gowns.

Yes, but Beatrice's dress wasn't even a cocktail dress; it looked like something she'd wear to a play or movie.

I didn't see anyone else in such casual wear.

Princess Beatrice attended the Portrait Gala at the National Portrait Gallery in London this evening, March 12:

Its a nice enough dress, though I am not sure it is worth the c£5,000 it is being reported to have cost. £500 probably, £5,000, no, IMO!
